When you stepped on the bookshelf and Sidon started pushing it with you on top.... I just LOST it. Like, literally laughing tears. Your small pause as what just happened sunk in... absolutely perfect. Everything about this video is perfect, but this moment is true, as you put it, ASCENSION.
it feels like an incredibly short game to me, that is set in an incredibly well made world. Divine beasts sucked. Ganon sucked. Shrines suck. Too Easy. But I really appreciate the attention to detail for the side quests and such, I feel like they sacrificed alot of the main gameplay for it. Imagine the dungeons from OOT/Majora's mask within the universe / graphics of BOTW? CAN YOU FEEL IT?
@@ZeranZeran The reason the Divine Beasts seem so rushed is because the vast majority of the development time was spent developing the engine and the world. Since most of that work is done and can be reused for the sequel, I'm hoping BOTW2 is a big step up in terms of dungeons.

It's good to see the support because I know it helps. On my second day of work on my first job I encountered the rudest man who made me feel like I wasn't doing a good job and made me feel really nervous but then he was followed by the nicest customer and possibly person I've ever met and she said "don't listen to grumpy people" and also said I was doing a great job for my second day (because she heard my supervisor say " it's his second day don't be rude"). That night I was losing sleep over it but then I remembered the awesome lady who was after him and I guess just thinking that there would be 1 really nice person for every how ever many rude people (or whatever my brain worked out with that) just made me feel a lot better. So keep being awesome crow and keep being those nice people guys.
My favorite thing about the Ridon is that it’s near-perfectly optimized. You need to get that bookshelf, Link, and Sidon to Tarrey Town. Sidon has the lowest maximum speed. As best as we know, the Ridon is the perfect solution to have everything arrive at Tarrey Town in the least amount of time with minimized controller input.

I'm, perhaps, not creative/masochistic enough to spend hours on some of these things. Of course, I'm trying to push my way through Master Mode to play the DLC again because of PointCrow's DLC video reminding me about how good it is. Maybe even play through again on regular difficulty with advanced skills, but then I saw that mod, and now I'm debating the dangers of modding BotW... But I'm not keen on playing the game with just bombs. But, sure, challenge yourself. On the other hand, there is some gameplay that I see as "undesirable", but that's mostly poor or extremely wasteful gameplay. Where you're not improving, or you're using premium currency when you just don't need to. That's fine (but bad) for kids and amateurs, but hard to justify as a quality performance.

If you've got a goal or a restriction to make the game harder, and you're doing the best you can, sure. If you've got a repetitive necessary evil, like grinding, expect that it's not going to be entertaining, at least on it's own. And then there's a certain degree of general and consistent incompetence that's going to turn people off. Even personally, playing a game myself, an inability to be even vaguely competent is going to turn me off the game. If I have to be really eloquent: "I greatly appreciate streamers who show an intelligent approach to a game through an awareness of gameplay mechanics and how their performance can be improved, rather than the use of crutches like microtransations and premium currencies to avoid failure states. Some degree of introspection and foresight would be a much more effective and entertaining solution, and I see that as the main draw of streaming."

@TheBoltMaster He was using the in-game clock as a timer for some reason, which is probably about 60 times faster than real time because it's only really used for the day/night cycle. I don't know why you would measure speeds using that, but I guess it would make sense to a Hylian.
