That's what I've heard from virtually every MKIII owner that has let one go haha. After owning one for a year now I can 100% see why now, it's just indescribably well made and fun to drive. You should see if you can pick one up soon before they inflate in value even more than they have in the last few years.

But IO also did that with the Conquest Tsi, the Iroc & The Mustang 5.0 too as well as the new 88 Prelude Si's too haha. I loved being able to test drive any car on the lot new or used.
Still cool in 2018
They are now seen few here in Japan
The only thing that makes me sad when watching these is how much better the retro motorweek is than the newer versions
I miss my 1989 white on white turbo. RIP my beloved Supra.....
Back when Toyota made sporty cars. They are getting back there with some Lexus models finally. But they aren't cheap either.
that front end is super nice
The Japanese version of the 1986 chevy corvette
My favorite Supra design. I had an ‘88 Prelude but wished I bought this instead.
Love those retro shiny jackets
Man, I miss the Celica and Supra so much. Toyota needs to bring back both of those names as well as the dragon logo.
It's almost comical a camry family sedan today has over 300hp.
I gotta agree with that lol. This old gal isn't going to beat out modern econoboxes either. I don't care though, I'm still blown away everyday by it's design and feel inside and out. Nothing looks like this thing and it's 100% cooler than any newer car.
@@rushnerd Couldn't agree more.
The best body style of Supra ever
It’s so funny that someone is always talking to the driver up until the last second when they launch the car down the track 😂
dat body roll
CLASSIC
omg I use to work at a Honda dealrship .. They got the 86-88 Supras in occasionally, I sue to sit in them & dream of owning one.
wish there was a review of the mk3 supra 1989+ turbo
still a good looking car.
80s handling. Rides like a boat!
This is the toyota I knew, an economy car that was interesting and heavy on value. Theres something curious and enjoyable about uber economical cars of the past.
Love this. Kinda disappointed that the 0-60 time was only 8.5 seconds. I thought it was going to be faster.
Turbo was in the 7 sec range
Love driving my mk3 Supra
Amazing how far we’ve come … to where my normally aspirated 2.5l 4cyl 4wd RAV4 has more bhp, weighs less, gets better gas mileage by far, and beats the supra soundly 0-60mph. I loved that supra but modern technology is a great thing.
I Had a 1989 in the Early 1990s. Best Car I Ever Had, I Miss It.
That's what I've heard from virtually every MKIII owner that has let one go haha. After owning one for a year now I can 100% see why now, it's just indescribably well made and fun to drive. You should see if you can pick one up soon before they inflate in value even more than they have in the last few years.
I am so proud of my 1991 toyota supra.i. am originally 3rd owner...i am looking for one more supra this time targa top if i can find it
I want to see a crash test...
Did MotorWeek ever review the turbo variant of the third gen Supra?
Looks timeless. You don't see these on the road anymore.
Wow that thing bounces in turns
I'd love a Supra. I think the model before this one would be the one
ALL DAY
@@ernieg9911 yessir. All day. I dig boxy japanese coupés
I miss the Supra I hope Toyota brings it back.
