    People get so caught up in the groupings. I am guilty of it, too. If you're not stacking pellets it's as if you've failed. I hate that ! If you were hunting, you'd be eating tonight with those groups at 85 yards.

      Agreed, what 3” max? That’s quite good for me and small game. Knock it down for a quick follow up shot.

    Since I'm a break barrel guy, the only PCP I shoot is a Gen 1 Gauntlet. That Gen 2 sure has my attention. Thanks for all the air gun videos. I enjoy them all.

    I have a G2 in 30cal. Using NSA 49.5 slug I can hold a 1 inch group at 150 yards. at 85 yards it will literally put them in the same hole all day
    I have it set up with two barrel bands and a 2 stage trigger and a DonnyFL sumo moderator on it

    I love this rifle. If you spend the time with it. It's as accurate as anything else. 🎯

    Hey they say g2 like heavy rounds in general

    PS - After using so many pellets, I have never been let down by the affordable Crosman Premier pellets. 14.3 in 22 and 10.5 in .177 .Sure, I like H&N, and JBS, but Crosman seem to be the best. The lead is much harder.

    • @northballistics
      @northballistics 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Often a softer lead will give you better results in more guns, but your not wrong that the premier seem to just “work” most of the time.

      I agree that some times the premier work ok but after literally TENS ON THOUSANDS of shots I can say confidently the JSB and H&N are MUCH BETTER. trust me. the Crosman pellets are not made as precise as the others. I have spent hours looking closely at them (and other pellets).

      @@ShootingGearReviews absolutely. One pellet the majority of my guns typically shoot very well is the JSB Strattons.. which isn’t the most popular JSB option. I test H&N, Crosman, JSB, on every gun, and a few other brands of course, but these 3 go through every barrel to help find the best option.

    In my opinion pellets accuracy looks better than slugs. But both are satysfying.

    Maybe the scope is more for hunting purposes not for precision shooting?

    • @ShootingGearReviews
      @ShootingGearReviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Check out the 100 yard groups in the review. It shows the scope isn’t an issue for getting great results th-cam.com/video/jBjPe5ScM_o/w-d-xo.html

    Think u need to check your eyes and put some calipers to those groups, because the pellets definitely shot tighter than the slugs. I like your videos, but don't try to sell b.s.

      @@heithwatkins I see all your VERY LENGTHY comments on other channels and never once completely denied your opinions as FALSE.
      No debate and no opinion allowed... You must be from the Brandon party. Lol It's still a free country here in the USA...
      If you bothered to look at the other reviews you would see the troubles and issues with the magazines and bolt action. And that is the TRUTH....

    • @ShootingGearReviews

      my mags are all great (and I have 4 of them) and the bolt action works without any problems... I don’t see what the issue is.

      Its the old saying..........( you get what you pay for ) . Maybe the G3 will be better ? So much hype on these guns . It's all about selling a product . Depending on you're wallet there are much better choices out there. No one is saying you have to buy it ! If you have done the research and don't like it , don't buy it, simple as can be... Personally I have never been a fan of these guns , but that's just me . There are those who love them . I respect you're opinion .

      @@joedokes8641 Thanks.
      Sold my G1.
      Watched many reviews on G2 and common issues were the magazine and the bolt. Some ammo grouped and some didn't. I welcome any opinion but calling mine and others insights in 1 word "False" is plain ignorance 🙄 . Like we need more fact checkers?? LMFAO
