With each tutorial I watch about Ableton I uncover more of it's secrets, it's like a treasure waiting to be opened, awesome tutorials. You can never stop learning audio.
Super stuff Rob as usual!... A great refresher as I have seen this a few times now. Thanks for keep this mini-tutorial online via live-courses/loopmasters channel!
you all prolly dont give a shit but does anyone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the password. I appreciate any help you can give me
@Wesley Joshua I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Tip: If you click the i/o button on the left of the rack, you can assign the same note to the kick sample and the sine synth, so you won't need to duplicate notes in the piano roll.
Hi, this tutorial is great, tho i'm having one frustrating problem. I cant copy the kicks or any other note for that matter in the midi note editor and paste them on a different drum!. Even if i right click on any note i dont see the option to copy. Therefor i cant do the step located at 2 min 47s...is there something stupid i am doing?? :s
Don't you srsly need to keep an eye on phase cancellation of the lower freq when layering a sub? In a bedroom setup it is going to be hard to hear that ? I'd stick to finding the right kick that fits, that has probably been made in a much better environment than the typical bedroom studio myself.
I can't assign my eq "scale" to any macro. they don't show up when i right click like you do at 6:20 it comes up with the top options but none of the "map to macro 4" etc, I'm on max live 8, any help would be simply spiffing :)

Very good but where is Part 1 and 3 please?
Thanks mate !
Where is the first video..
1 way u can get that sound is by using the redux.. downsampling
i think your Eq is next to Instrument Rack, not inside, one possibility
thats distortion introduced by youtube compression
This guy is cool
maybe to make it very clear for us!?
