Being a surfer myself, I know how dangerous reef is. In head high surf you can get seriously injured, especially at pipe. The fact the a blind guy is charging waves of that size at a break that dangerous is mind baffling. Congrats man, surfing is hard enough with eye sight, DAMN.
i did sort of the same thing, i went night surfing a couple times when it was pick dark. you get to really feel the waves. it gives a whole new meaning to surfing.

Amazing! Kids got a great paddle, pop up and stance as well. To get an idea of how hard surfing blind is, hop on an indo board, close your eyes and see how long you can keep your balance, lucky if you can do 10 seconds. Multiply that difficulty by 10.
