Glad it's been of some help. I realised there wasn't currently one on here for a right hand drive air con version so thought it was best to put something out there. Hope it goes as well for you as it went for me. No more steamy windows here 🙂

@@DanWithAPlan666 thanks again, I got as far as removing the heater box assembley, which meant removing the scuttle panel infront of the windscreen in order to undo two screws holding the heater box assembly in above the passenger footwell where the air goes into the cabin.
      what a pain

Fantastic video mate. I have my matrix bypassed because i live in portugal and I don't really need the heater too much. But I am having water or coolant pooling under the driver mat (RHD) and I need to find out where it is coming from. I guess probably one of those plugs under the carpet is not sealing anymore... This video gave me an idea of the what I'm looking for and how to remove the carpet, which is my main goal. Although i do want to replace the matrix next summer, so I guess I will come back to this video in a few months.

It is an awful work to do. I had to swap the heater two years ago after I just bought the car. Mine got the ACC installed and then it’s even worse. Took me 8h to change. If you take the car to a workshop you are ruined. And: be careful with the hoses connected to the heater. Replace them if possible, because if they start to leak the water will run along the copper tube inside the car.

Great video - what a nightmare job. Be sure to do a full coolant flush after. Old acidic coolant will deteriorate metal and rubber through electrolysis.

Thanks for this.... where did you buy the new heater core for RHD models?

@evanlewis4857 I found one on ebay. The one for non AC cars is also different so there are 4 that I am aware of!
