Great tutorial and pattern. I had told my self I wasn’t buying anymore patterns till I made some of the ones I had. Lets just say I didn’t mean to lie! ☺️
Looking forward to making this, thanks for the video. Always nice to see how a bag come together before making it. Also nice to see it made in fabric rather than vinyl
I love this bag but wonder if there is a hack on maybe boxing the bottom. I really struggle with the gusset curved but really love the way the strap connectors are put on! I follow your tutorials step by step and really appreciate them.
Hi Melissa...got mine all cut out ready to sew tomorrow and your tutorial showed a couple of good variations..appreciate that! I've made 2 Kensley Totes so far that I absolutely love using vinyl and cork for the exterior. I'll show my Martini Crossover too when its done on your FB group too! Thanks for the lovely patterns...looking forward to number 3...Lindy H.
This is such a cute bag. I can't wait to try it out. I have been looking for a bag domestic machine friendly and this looks just like what I want . Thanks for the tutorial.
Love your tutorials. Just wishing you could zoom out a little so I can see all of what you're working on. I'm old, and new to purse making, and need all the visual I can get. Thanks.
Thank you for your purchase. I got them on Amazon www.amazon.com/Country-Brook-Design-Aluminum-Belt/dp/B00LT3D5AY/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=Strap+ends&qid=1632353309&sr=8-3
Hi Linda, you could try but I think that the bag won’t stand up on its own and will be a little too small inside. If you give it a go please share pics in the Facebook group. I would be interested to see.
I LOVE the looks of this bag…bought the pattern. The gusset is killing me! Wish it had a boxed bottom.

Thanks Hazel. I can't wait to see what you make! While I like the look of vinyl I prefer cotton myself.
I really like your technique to attach the zipper panel, it's so much easier.

Just bought the pattern today! SO excited to start. Where do you purchase your strap ends?
Thank you for your purchase. I got them on Amazon www.amazon.com/Country-Brook-Design-Aluminum-Belt/dp/B00LT3D5AY/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=Strap+ends&qid=1632353309&sr=8-3
Love your tutorials. What type fabric are you using?
The brown fabric is a vinyl, I believe I got that at Walmart last year. The yellow is a quilt cotton I got from Hobby Lobby.
Que bolsa maravilhosaaaaa!!!!!Muito linda...
Hi, I thought you were making the short handles on connectors? But watching this it looks like you just sewed them straight under the anchors?
Ok I see you then showed the other way! 🙂
Great video! I can’t wait to make one! Where did you find those wider plastic clips?
Thanks Jaime, here is a link to the wider clips. amzn.to/3mN3tUF
In the pattern instructions it indicates to sew the gusset on at 1/2" seam allowance and in the video you state 3/8" seam allowance. Which is correct?
Please refer to the pattern for accurate seam allowances. I must have misspoke in the video.
@@SewYours Thank you!
Where do you get your clamp on strap ends please?
Here is the link where you can purchase. amzn.to/3B81EXy
This bag doesn't use foam for interfacing?
I have used foam for mine. You can do foam or Decovil Light. Foam provides a more stable bag.
I want to make the bag with a narrower gusset; do you think that will work?
Hi Linda, you could try but I think that the bag won’t stand up on its own and will be a little too small inside. If you give it a go please share pics in the Facebook group. I would be interested to see.
couldn't find that pattern on your site

Can this pattern be constructed from genuine leather?
Hi Jennifer, I'm not experienced with Leather so I can't say for sure. I would think it would be suitable.
Hola ,si teniendo en cuenta de rebajar los bordes a superponer más que aquellos que que solo se unen una ves y con forreria más bien fina
