I was thinking the same thing, wanted to go back and watch all the content and the voice shocked me at first. The V90 is one of the few I don't have, I still might have to go back and add it to the collection.
Oh man, seeing the evolution is so nifty. Went from the camping with the funkey to the v90 camping video, to this. So cool to see how things like the powkitty punching cat have been around for so long
i got this about three months ago and so far i've been loving it. i use it mostly for gba emulation (since i missed most of those) and i finished super metroid on it last week. while snes emulation is not perfect the less demanding games are playable. genesis runs very well as well as everything below that. screen is nice and bright, and the overall design works well as my beater device. for everything else, i use my phone with a bluetooth controller which does everything i need it to do (hold my phone, play n64,ps1, and the harder snes games) EDIT: i recommend Vectorman for the genesis. it was my favorite on genesis when i had it
Yeah those are good points. This is a great device, not perfect, but great for the price. And I really enjoy having cheaper devices around that I don't have to worry about scratching up or breaking. I will definitely check out Vectorman!
@@apostrofo-c8x the snes metroid struggled a bit and the screen was a bit small. but with some frame skipping, i was able to finish the game and it was enjoyable. as for the gba/nes metroids, it worked really well
Looking at a possible purchase to take me back in time, just worried that I end up with a copy and not the real thing, I live in the UK and was looking for help for the best place to purchase or who to purchase thro, maybe u can help.🤔
Yes I do have the red one as well! I bought 2 so I could play with my cousin. I prefer the red actually. It's more of a red/orange colour. Both look great though.
How does this device performs overall specially after updating it to a custom firmware. I have read its software can be modified. Any noticible increase in emulator performances and battery life? You tried that mate?
Another question here almighty tech. Can i charge it using ordinary android chargers? Would it have issues on fast chargers? I think I have seen a vid saying that his battery got busted using one
Well I returned mine just moments ago because the sound it makes when opening/closing was gone on the first day. This made the screen wobble when open or closed. Let me highlight this happened on the - first - day of use.
Thanks! It's sort of an orangish red. Or a reddish orange. Mostly red tbh. I know that Minish Cap & Link to the Past come pre-loaded on the thingy (I actually started a Minish Cap playthrough once I finished the vid). You can easily add roms to the SD card so if anything is missing you can grab it online and drop it on the card. Enjoy!
I think the custom firmware allows those systems. I'm definitely going to be doing a vid on that soon so I'll make sure to test the Atari systems when I do that.

Wow nice collection! Can I ask why your fave is the rg351v? I love the vertical format devices but if I was going bigger size I don't know that I'd prefer that to the wider format devices. I haven't tried one yet though and I hope to soon.
@TechDweeb thanks, the rg351v has the same with and hight as the dmg but it's thiner so the size is good for me (love the dmg). I'm a playstation fan and rg351v plays the harder to emulate isos pbps and bins. And it looks like the dmg. Also love playing psp and dreamcast on it (eventhough thosetwo systems are hit and miss.) Love the big 4x3 screen. (I did swap the bottons with some red ones I had on hand) it's like a more comfortable rg300.
I haven't tested the custom firmware yet, that'll be in a video very soon, and I expect that it'll improve performance across all systems. I'll definitely be testing SNES in that vid so stay tuned for that :)

I can't say for sure but I can say that I've used a fast charger for my V90 and it worked out just fine.

Yes it's easy to add games to. The system itself is stored on internal storage, and the SD card is used to hold games and settings.
