this is why i always thought, inter have a much better chance of beating city then united did. a team much further on and much more organised with less errors
Inter back 3 also way better on the ball than Utd’s defenders as well, so can draw the press in counter. They also lead distance coverage in Champions League
@@Kaleem78true but when u have ddg in goal rather than onana inter will obviously be better than us on the ball
It's really impressive how Inzaghi has converted calhanoglu to sort of a deep lying playmaker as we know at milan he was more of an attack minded midfielder
I watched Serie A than EPL. You covered well Inter's evolution under Inzaghi. Additionally, one of the key threats Inter had posed to opponents thus far is long balls played by the keeper. The target man is always hidden where the camera doesn't show us on the TV screen so you hardly see how these forwards are being prepared for these balls especially relatively to their own build up phase just surrounding their 18 yard box.
After all, it would be interesting to see who starts first; Lukaku or Dzeko. Both players were lately assigned No. 9 roles but with different objectives in my opinion.
Best wishes Inter and coach Inzaghi.
Inzaghi is a genius
Great analysis. One of the better ones I’ve seen going into the UCL final. Only one minor quibble. Inzaghi has something that Conte never had to build out of the back - Onana. He is far better at distribution than Handanovic ever was. He makes playing out of the back easier because when all else fails he will send a long accurate pass to a wing back or Dzeko/Lukaku for hold up b
Great analysis brother but it's not "Simeone" its Simone. Forza Inter!
I’ve been saying it quite a bit these last few weeks, but Inter have the best chance at beating City out of most of the teams they’ve went up against recently. It’s a difficult and almost alien formation for Pep. Pulling for Nerazzurri to stop the treble
Great Analysis, unfortunately Inter lost, but we all clearly have seen how much ManCity struggled to get this win. and actually at the end it has been only about episodes... Inter could have scored and could have got the overtimes... beautiful football, amazing tactics, definitively a very good team. I hope to see them again. In my opinion their back line is really great managing the ball, including Onana. He is great with the ball, and suddenly the opponent's press become a deadly weakness they exploit with long flat vertical passes to the strikers. Check their goals against Atalanta.
Thanks for the time you put in to produce a great video with tons of detail.
COMMON INTER MILAN FIGHT TILL THE FINAL WHISTLE TILL THE END
Excellent 👌🏽
tele santana used to do that in 92/93 in sao paulo, wity gylmar and great Valber
Take a drink every time Dave says "pressurized". Challenge level: impossible.
What's your advice for how to get into football analysis like this? Brilliant video
Left hand side facing Bernado-Stones-Dias-Rodri-Walker... Vini Jr and Sane were neutralised by this wing blanket
Great analysis 👍 Forza Inter
As an Inter fan I’d say you got it right for the most part. But Lukaku and Dzeko are both Target men and we play route 1 and try to play straight to them. Lautaro is more of a Poacher and Pressing Forward, Correa plays more like an Attacking Mid (When he’s not invisible 😂)
The Italian technician taking a leaf out of sir Chris wilders book 😂
The true GOAT tactician
Impressive tactics
@statmen dave make a video about how pochetino can affect chelsea or transform
please save football Inter Milan
Make a video Who should Postecoglou sign at Spurs please
Can u make a 9a side video about 242
If City puts on the same intensity of play seen against Madrid, there are no tactics or schemes that can save Inter from an heavy defeat. Acerbi has no hope of stopping the "blond android"!
Acerbi actually did remarkable well defending Haaland 2 seasons ago in the two matchesvs Dortmund. Of course Haaland a more mature player now but Arcerbi will also get help from the likes of Bastoni and Brozovic
I'm wondering if Statman Dave has ever thought of coaching?
Always surprising to me how people gets his name wrong SEE-MO-NE!!
I watched Inter Milan vs Fiorentina Copa Italy i wasn't convinced. I hope am wrong
In that game inter didn't play very well, but actually they had 3 games that week, and that affected a lot their performance.
They played as they know only between the 20th and 35th minute, then they chose to defend a bit lower to keep some energy to reach the champions league qualification on the following saturday
Don't give up hope yet. City have often struggled against teams with 5 at the back and aggressive yet compact midfields, nunos wolves were a good example. Ten hags set up did a good job without the ball frustrating city at times plus city still open on counters if you get past their press. I expect city to win but inter with their organisation plus huge game passion could pose a huge threat to under pressure potential treble city... 🤞
If you watched their last game against Torino you would be even less convinced. But let's see how it goes.
Could Matheus Nunes fit in this system? He is a box to box midfielder.
I think any type player could fit on this system somewhere
I think this system would fit Manchester United’s current squad to a T
While I know that SofaScore is sponsoring your channel, which is a good thing, you should really try to animate the tactics like you did before. This is why many people, including myself, loved your channel.
He still tends to on the main channel but this is the livestream clips
The main Statman Dave channel has these videos :)
