I got Foundation’s “that’s life” and Almost Round Three for Christmas in 07. Both got me insanely pumped to skate
All the versions I've found sound different from Leo Romero' s part, you don't hear the drums as much in the intro or throughout the song.

I grew up skating in 2000 and when this part dropped in like 04’ I think this shit was such a banger! Wtf skating was so much better 1999-2009 best decade ever
funny, I always thought it was the most boring. Every part from every skater looked exactly the same. Flip into a rail. Flip trick down stairs... annnnnd... AND... hmm, I guess that's it. (skating today is a little more creative. And early 90's is fun to watch because they were still learning what was possible. 2000's is probably my least favorite era lol.)
No wonder I stopped skating in 2009

can confirm, modern and upcoming racing games are either FIA GT3 sim racers or festival racer slops (The Crew Motorfest, FH5) that's completely devoid of any songs or filled with songs that's not even remotely belong in the racing genre (NFS since Heat, The Day Before Solar Clown)
made worse with every upcoming racers under the sun we're being always online, meaning if these games aren't selling well, they will inevitably pulled the plug and one will no longer able to play these games at all, even if it's just for single player

I think i saw them with The Locust and Holy Molar like 15 years ago. I was 13, took the train to the city and drank an entire bottle of 99 bananas. I still have my shirt from that show.
