I agree, the overall quality and fit&finish it’s just so good especially for the price. I love how rcb blades tend to sit deep as well. Super impressed with the quality of the stag of this sowbelly pattern from RCB. Great video man and love the comparisons!

Prefer shape of gec's 88, but this is a nice walk through on single bld Rosecraft version. Decent stag on it, agreed.

Ugh, yeah, those are cool knives ( Im ordering both with your code) but let’s see more of that SFO 88 bayou trapper!!!! Never seen it with two shields and numbering!

The big difference to me has always been the fatter, somehow more 'clunky' bolsters and frames on the Rosecraft. I've yet to see a Chinese-made trad slipjoint without this characteristic giveaway. Rough Ryder Reserve is another example, as is Brother. Hardly surprising if it's true (as some claim) that they're all made in the same manufacturing facility. These are clearly all good knives, and it's great to see some decent cover materials as well, but until the Chinese are able to match the 3-D elegance of GEC and other top Western makers, they're not going to be serious competition.

Would love them if they were made in the USA.
