- A trip to the hardware store can result in lots of fun and creative items that can be used in your floral designs. In this episode, see how I use wire fencing to form a column that will serve as the basis of the design! Then, simply attach water tubes as a water source for the flowers, and you’ll have created a unique and eco-friendly centerpiece for your home or special event. Add this technique to your bag of tricks for a sustainable, reusable and more eco-friendly way to design! I.W. Harper’s Cabernet Cask Reserve is the featured pour for this episode! Harper’s Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky takes their 4-year aged bourbon, and finishes it in cabernet sauvignon casks, brought in from California. This results in a wonderful tasting product that is smooth and full of dark fruit and spice notes! Hope you’ll enjoy this episode! Cheers!

Fabulous
Thank you!! And thanks for watching!!
Oh yeahhhhh this one's my favorite! How beautiful this would be in a cluster of different heights (with suspended tealights YES and floating orchids YES!). Orrrrr as a simple arrangement, using flowers from your garden (peonies or gardenias YES), on the entry table or kitchen island. You could even put the water tubes with small, monochromatic flowers (following the grid format) for a really symmetrical statement piece! My creativity is on overdrive with this one. Thanks, Mark!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Yay, Maria! So glad you liked this one, and you’re right - the possibilities are endless! And once the structure/base form is made, you can use it over and over again! Thanks for watching! ❤️
Absolutely stunning ! Who would think that a piece of fencing could result in such a beautiful arrangement !? And thanks again for the baskets, Mark. They were greatly appreciated.
Thanks Maxine! I’m so glad you enjoyed this episode! I so appreciate your watching! And we were more than happy to help with the baskets!! ❤
What a classy design.
Thanks, Jan! This was a fun one for me for sure! And it can take on so many variations, too! Thanks again for watching! Cheers!
I was crazy about this idea when I tripped across your video. So stunning and innovative. So, of course, I was at Home Depot before the end of the hour collecting my items, my head spinning with what could be done. I decided to do a table installation with a Ruscus runner. It's something I've been needing for my own website & event floral design business. These are the results. I hope you like them! p.s. I've already changed from sprayed plastic water tubes to clear glass tubes.....makes a very big difference, in my opinion. Thanks so much for jarring my creativity!
That’s awesome Catherine! I’m so glad you were inspired to try your own design after seeing this piece! If you could try reattaching the pics, I can’t see them here with your comments! Thank you again for your kind words and for watching! Looking forward to hearing more from you! Cheers!
