Horizontal Fall Centerpiece Design w/ Birch Branches | Episode 64 of Blossoms and Bourbon
In this episode, I’ll use a low, ceramic bowl to create a lovely fall centerpiece for your dining table. Birch branches create a long horizontal line, extending the arrangement in either direction. Lots of texture and flower types make this a perfect design for welcoming Fall! Today’s bourbon is one that my son found on a recent trip to Nashville, TN. Tennessee Crown Bourbon Whiskey 6 year comes from the Tennessee Crown Distillery in Memphis, TN. The nose and taste of this product are very subtle, almost to a fault. While not a bad pour, it’s almost too subtle to be memorable. Try it and let me know what you think! Thanks for watching! Cheers!

I think the fall stuff is fine, mostly because the leaves are turning and falling, here where I live. With risen prices, planning and budgeting are needed for any extras one might want for the holidays. Knowing what the prices are, and therefore how much one needs to budget, is helpful to the average shopper. Budgeting requires time - research time, saving up money time, etc.

Which parts of the arrangment are related to this session's topic rhythm? Help me understand rhythm in flower designs? 🙏
Hi and thanks for this great question! Rhythm refers to the visual movement (or how your eye moves) thru a design. This is usually created thru repetition or gradation. I have used repetition of the container (the glass vase that is bound into the branches in multiples) as well as some of the materials themselves being repeated thru the design. I hope this helps!
