How to Do Laundry Without a Washing Machine

- In this video, I give you all a peek into my Laundry Day. I've been washing machine free for a little over 2 years now and I absolutely love it!
While eco-friendly, this method is NOT for everyone. I choose to wash my clothes this way because as an active fitness professional who can go through about 3 changes of clothes in a day, laundry adds up...QUICK! It saves me $$, time, and a trip to the laundry mat. It’s also convenient because I don’t like a full hamper of dirty clothes just waiting for me to take them to the laundry mat only to get 65% clean and half-way rinsed. Washing my clothes this in this manner is a sure way for me to get my clothes clean, rinsed thoroughly and smelling fresh-just the way I like it!

Caveat:
I do in fact take my bath towels and blankets to the laundry mat because they would surpass the "wet laundry weight limit" of 22 lbs. I do NOT fill the washer drum near the recommended “fill line”. It’s the best way to get my towels and blankets more properly cleaned and rinsed.

Great video! Some friendly mentions. Alkaline baking soda and acidic vinegar neutralize each other if used at the same time. Baking soda works great with detergent, vinegar works great as a rinse. Washed, soapy clothes can be placed directly in the spinner for an initial spin that flings off a lot of the soap. Then some water can be poured over the clothes in the spinner, and then the clothes have another spin cycle to extract the water.

Dope. I like that this is unique for a video and super economical. I know I'm not the one to do something like this though for timing sake ..even though I can't stand the poor quality laundry machines I'm stuck with.
Thanks Jasmine! Right?! Suuuuper economical! This process definitely isn't for everyone. I don't mind the extra labor because sometimes I go through about 3 changes of clothes each day due to my line of work and I like nip those in the bud asap instead of waiting til I get a full load or 2 then dragging everything to the laundry mat.
So I wanna thank you so much by say I live in low income housing and my washer broke down and my autistic daughter is a bed wetter and your video was helpful. I just gotta get spinner thingy you purchase.our washer stop at spin cycy which sucks! Hopefully its nothing spendy. Because hand wringing is hard on my carpal tunnel

My portable washer spinner dryer broke and now I'm in the process of trying to find another portable washer. But since my husband and I are starting out, I'm trying to find videos on how to dry my clothes without a spinner. And then hang them to dry completely.

@@ThatGreenLyfe My machine broke down and I had to follow your steps during winter. Worked, regardless. Took a little longer to dry but whatever!
The spin dryer is the most important piece in this kind of set-up. You can hang drippy laundry outside if the weather permits but when 90% of the water has been spun out, things go a lot faster and you can hang the slightly damp clothes indoors during winter. It's a must in my opinion.

This is cool but why would you pay soooo much for just a spinner when you could and should have gotten the whole mini washing machine/spinner combo for less??? I have had the washer/dryer unit for 2.4 years and love it but I'd never get just the dryer. It is nice though. Just don't know why you'd rather wash your clothes in the tiny basket and have to do all that work when the washing machine on mine and all of the others is so amazing and the whole unit was $50 less than your spinner.
