Im almost finished with the series, and every time this happens in canon I've been going back to watch this animatic. Literally what is the heterosexual explanation for this to happen on every single date between Gwen and Arthur.

I mean, this here is the entire plot 😂 an official ad for the DVD boxed set even said that the show is about magic etc but that its ultimately about the sweet funny love story between Merlin and Arthur 🤧 & the creator said they were a love story between two men. They said Merlin was meant to be written along the lines of Zelda warrior princess & we all know how gay that was 😳
