See, you always see people doing tutorials for these, and it's like they have these pristine glass jars with water, and a little container with gemstones for after, and they're doing with all these fancy, expensive tools... and then there's this one. But this one was really helpful! Thanks for the help! 😊
This design is absolutely amazing. I wore it for a party and everyone was asking how did I do this. I told them all go on your channel and you'll find it. I really love this design sloppily much. It's one of the prettiest design I have ever seen. I hope everyone give you a thumbs up. You really deserve it. I LOVE THE NAIL DESIGN SOOOOOOOO MUCH
Sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know of a method to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the login password. I love any assistance you can give me.
@Camilo Ramon I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
I really like your video! Great job explaining everything and in a quick and easy to understand way!! I really like how you showed exactly how to make the designs in the water with the stick and mentioning to pull from the inside then from the outside! Also looks like u have an awesome collection of colors!! Thanks for the great tutorial!!!
I don't mean to offend, but I just wanted to reach through the screen and clean that cup out. I'm so weird that way. Obviously it doesn't make ANY difference in what you're doing because they come out SO cool looking!! I love it. I subscribed as soon as I saw you!
LOVE IT! My favorite water marble design that I've seen on you tube by far! Soooo cute!!! I'm going to stay tuned and check out what you do next;) Thanks for the great idea.
Mucking Fusser Your WM videos are the reason I am actually able to WM now! I spend about a whole month doing both but watch videos over and over and over! I read anything I could get my hands on WM and followed EVERY SINGLE tip! I had never bothered to try WM because of how hard it looked and because so many other talented ladies I followed couldn’t do it so I didn’t have the confidence to even try. One night at 11:30pm I had just received my Twinkle T mat and my first set of ANIV set I sat down and tried! I was literally jumping up and down when on my first attempt I got it!! I have been WM ever since. I can’t do fancy stuff but I can do four designs so far. Having a toddler makes it nearly impossible to have mommy nail time so I can only do them once every couple weeks(if I’m lucky) anyways sorry for rambling! Lol 😂 I really hope you’ll return to do more WM videos! I check at least once a month to make sure I haven’t misses a new video! 😊 Thanks for clear video, simple instructions and great talent!!If your interested in seeing my WM attempts feel free to drop by Nickys_nails_n_stuff on Instagram. Thanks!! Nicole
Ive seen so many water marble designs of yours especially using this polish i know i need these in my life !!!! but i looooove all of your designs I follow on IG so im happy to get to see the complete tutorials on YT now!!!!!!!!
MrsBearPINK This set is for sure a must have for any polish lover and water marble enthusiasts like myself, I can't wait for more colors with the same formula! It's really nice to know that people from IG like yourself are enjoying my long awaited videos! I am too glad to be sharing my technique and art with you all!
Hello dear.. I'm happy to see you r now doing TH-cam videos.. I've followed you or so long on IG now I see you on TH-cam. I've missed so much stuff. I think I follow too many people.. Love your work n you're beautiful.
I am on a marathon watching session of your vids tonight! lol! I just love 'em! I said it before and I say it again, you make this look easy, and it's giving me the confidence to start trying water designs. Thanks again. (I won't comment anymore, it's just gonna start to get uncomfortable at that point. LMAO!!!)
I actually use Elmer's glue. I paint it not only on the nail but around it. I am a fingernail polish picker and it makes it easier to peel off without damaging my nail.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING!!!!!!! I've been wanting to do these kind of mails for a long time and the beauty salons were just too much money. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful, I'm glad I don't do tutorials to many negative people and if you guys know it all why watch personally I watched the whole thing no problems ty so much for taking the time to explain: )
also, I tried to see what my Mod Podge would do painted around my nail to see if it would peel off good. It does. But I suppose since YOU are the one who does this, and I never HAVE, you know what works. I am a perfectionist and I wanted to see if I could actually get the glue close enough to my nail so I wouldn't have to clean up with a brush. I know, I'm weird! OBVIOUSLY, one doesn't NEED to be so perfect because a brush and remover works just fine.
Why are people so mean in these comments? What the hell!! This is a beautiful design and I'm sure she spent a long time filming and editing this video. Stop being assholes and appreciate all the work she put into the video. 😠
Haaaa I just smile at them all and send them the love that they need! But yes I will forever love this swirly design, and it sure did take me a minute it being my first video! Thanks for the support :D
I think water marble stuff like that is awesome I'm going to do that one day meaning today I have been up all night and I have been watching this videos on youtube
Just an FYI, the tape you're using is often called "masking tape" (also "painter's tape" at one time but now there are fancy, specialized pat's tapes, so that name isn't used as much). It's a great idea, as opposed to using cellophane tape (tape you'd use to repair a tear in paper or seal an envelope when the glue isn't sticky enough). Masking tape is used a lot in schools to post decorations on walls because it doesn't damage them (well, maybe once in a great while). It's wider...just a little...than cellophane tape. It's easier on skin, easier to take off, & CHEAP compared to using cellophane tape. You can tear off a series of strips, tack the very edge onto the table edge, & speed up applying the tape to the area around the nail. Last, it doesn't peel off in thin strips because it's thicker than cellophane tape...you couldn't easily peel cellphone tape off by loosening it with the tip of an orange stick, but you had no trouble with masking tape. I do recommend using Scotch brand over generic brands as generic masking tape is often thinner than cellophane tape. BTW, I did ask someone else but I want to get as many tips as I can. I can't get the polish to drop off the brush, no matter how much I load, how I go about loading the paint (dipping it in & out of the bottle, tilting the bottle to the side & holding the brush in it for a few seconds). Thinning isn't a lot of help...I tried putting nail polish remover (not a whole lot but enough that it would apply to the nail easily if I was just painting the nail). I shook it really hard, let it sit to get rid of bubbles in the polish, then shook it normally. Sometimes I'd get one drop, it'd spread fine. Other times, no drop or it would just sit there. It was room temperature water. I'm out of bottled water, but there are a lot of videos showing use of tap water. Some swear by certain brands of polish, others just use what they've picked up along the way. I REALLY want to have this design on my nails, but I'm not in good health, & honestly, I'm worn out from the aggro of trying to make this work. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks for this video. I LOVE th e colors & design. You are a born teacher. You speak plainly (I have bad hearing but I can understand you...not so much with ones who don't take the trouble to speak clearly. You show us what we need to get before we start...many do this, but you don't leave anything out & your descriptions & rationale are simply & clearly stated. You show the process (BTW I noticed you & other people tap the polish brush handle smartly on top, sometimes several times, but that wasn't much help & it hurt the joints in my hand). You show things others don't, like how to remove excess polish from the water (which sure hasn't been a problem for me, but it's nice to know). Thanks!
Excellent tutorial. I have been following My Simple Little Pleasures for over 3 years. Looks like i'll be watching yours too. :) Just a thought, maybe you could list the brands and colours of the polish you use. Cheers :D
Mucking Fusser I agree! You are so engaging and fun to watch(and listen to, as well!). You do fantastic work, girl! Keep sharing all this awesome stuff!
Amazing I love this so beautiful. So you said you used a shot glass will anything bigger work? I never had good luck with water marble but won't give up. Do u know if sallyhansen miracle gel will work ?
Thanks! I use a 3 OZ plastic cup which you can purchase from wal-mart or most grocery stores. They usually come in a stack of 50 or so. Gel polishes dont work in the water, but try OPI and Zoya :D
I LOVE your nail tutorials! Much better than the tutorials that are heavily edited and don't get much out if them lol. Keep up the great work! I'm @nailsbyhalina on Instagram btw :)
Looks amazing, I have to do mine really quick because the polish dries so fast in the water! and they aren't even fast drying but they are all quality polishes..don't know why it happens
I have several questions...I just subscribed to you....but mainly....why do you need a base coat??? I tried to do the multi color stripes and it didn't turn out so good....it seemed that my polish dried to quickly in the water and I wasn't able to move it around very easily...so I did a check on which polishes work best and found that most said that thin polishes are best...so I just went to walmart at 330am to buy a bunch of color from Wet n Wild and will try again after I get a few hours of sleep...lol..love the tutorials....my nail guy is upset because I learned how to do my acrylics myself,,,even got the filing machine and all...so I don't go in to get them done anymore....now I'm learning design ;) so ty sweetheart !! Lani...hmm just noticed I'm on my grandson's account..lol I'm not the little boy in the pic.
hello! I love your tutorials!! I just got a couple of questions 1: what does the temperature of the water have to be ? 2: is the nail polish that you use expensive? 3: can you buy the nail polish at pharmacies? 4: what camera do you use? thank you 😊😊
Hello Diane! Thanks so much, I am glad you like em! 1) You should use room temperature filtered water. So around 75 degrees F. Make sure all fans turned off and windows closed too. 2) OPI, Zoya and Julep polishes are some brands that work that are a little more expensive. It's all about trial and error with marbling 3) I've used some Sally hansen and wet N' wild polishes but some work better then others 4) I used my phone for this video in particular :D
So groovy. I've been trying to get up the guts to do my first water marble but I'm afraid that everything will get slung across the room if it doesn't turn out well the very first nail I try.
Love that you're making video tutorials now!! I do have a question. How do you keep your polish from drying out around the edges once it's in the water? Mine dries out so fast, I'm always finding myself in a really big hurry...lol.
i am going to try this i never seen anybody do this is so cool i like this and i dont like my nails to grow but i will try to hold it in so i can do this and this nail art looked so cute plaese make more like this
You are amazing at water marble designs,I love your designs, I cannot do this to save my life, you prob get asked this alot but have you got any tips? If I do manage to do my design in the water when I put my nail in the water when it comes out its just a gloppy mess on the end of my nails?
Hi, I tried this but it didn't work for me. The polish didn't spread out at all either, someone just mentioned that you have to use room temperature distilled water, is this true? What was the temperature of your water and what kind?...distilled etc?? The design is just beautiful! Also isn't there some kind of peel you can put around your nail? I saw it on another video, do you know the name? That would sure save alot of time and effort! Thanks very much in advance ...I'm hoping you'll answer my questions...I know there's a few :)
Next time you break a nail, get swiss silk wraps from Sally's! It can repair the nail if its still attached or it can be put on and built up to the length the nail was and it looks normal and lasts a long time!
Beautiful job!! and Thanks for sharing.. Yes...I agree with you..... the "masking" tape by scotch does work well!! also I think you got your point and instruction across to everyone very well.!!! I understood every word you said, and didn't have any problem with your material.. I was happy to see you were reusing the same cup and stick instead of wasting more material.. and your nails are so pretty and long.!!!. As for the rude comments below, please get over your "special" self!!! and see through your own Ignorance, to grasp the real point of the video!!! Oh and Next time you want to be so rude and judgmental... Please ...Lets see your perfect video...(Oh you don't have one yet????) Well... I didn't think so!!!!.
Peggy Grant Wow Peggy, I can't even express how grateful I am for your words. I really means a lot that you took the time to let me know how you feel about my work. It helps fuel my passion when people like yourself mention these things. But yes the scotch brand sticks to your skin the best and using the same cup sometime helps let the polish attach to the side of the cup leading to a cleaner design when dragging the lines. I also use OPI nail envy to keep my nails nice and strong. I try to reply back to all the comments weather they are rude or not everyone just needs love haha. But for reals thank you Peggy! I very much appreciate it!
NYAAA I love your video, did you know that there's a lack remover felt-tipped pen in essence? I got it, and it's fantastic... It smells like strawnerries (•3•)
See, you always see people doing tutorials for these, and it's like they have these pristine glass jars with water, and a little container with gemstones for after, and they're doing with all these fancy, expensive tools... and then there's this one. But this one was really helpful! Thanks for the help! 😊
Haha yea this was my first video I shot and uploaded so I was working with what I had. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the support! :D

I just Love water marble nails maybe i ll show you some of my water marble nails
Just an FYI, the tape you're using is often called "masking tape" (also "painter's tape" at one time but now there are fancy, specialized pat's tapes, so that name isn't used as much).
Thanks for this video. I LOVE th e colors & design. You are a born teacher. You speak plainly (I have bad hearing but I can understand you...not so much with ones who don't take the trouble to speak clearly. You show us what we need to get before we start...many do this, but you don't leave anything out & your descriptions & rationale are simply & clearly stated. hello! I love your tutorials!! I just got a couple of questions
1: what does the temperature of the water have to be ?
2: is the nail polish that you use expensive?
3: can you buy the nail polish at pharmacies?
4: what camera do you use?
thank you 😊😊
Hello Diane! Thanks so much, I am glad you like em!
1) You should use room temperature filtered water. So around 75 degrees F. Make sure all fans turned off and windows closed too.
2) OPI, Zoya and Julep polishes are some brands that work that are a little more expensive. It's all about trial and error with marbling
3) I've used some Sally hansen and wet N' wild polishes but some work better then others
4) I used my phone for this video in particular :D
That is so cool. Once my nails grow back I'm going to try that. Thanks for the tutorial!!!!
Ann Bast Thank you! the spiral does look a little nicer on long nails but I think you could do it on short ones too! :)

"Now you can just stop there and BOOM" love that bit 😂
I'm gonna try this
So pretty
And your design is perfect.
flordesera Thanks so much!
Yes room temp filtered water, use cheaper polishes (the thinner the better) and there's simply peel :)
Same here,
about several years ago. I'll try my very best.
Reminds me of the colorful marbles that I played with a long time ago. My sisters, too.
You video was extremely detailed and I can't wait to use all of advice.
You're amazing at water marbeling! You make it look easy, - but I know its not!
Ruthie Santana Thank you! I am about to reach my two year anniversary for my first water marble! It's taken some practice to get where I am!
Really cool design! :) love it
I love this pattern!!! Unfortunately I'm not any good at water marbling 😭
Let me know if you want any tips!
awesome did it and turned out so cool
Next time you break a nail, get swiss silk wraps from Sally's! It can repair the nail if its still attached or it can be put on and built up to the length the nail was and it looks normal and lasts a long time!
So pretty stunning I love itttt!!!!❤❤❤❤❤

It looks great ,i even tried to do some of my own designs
I very much appreciate it!
aneh
