I love this song as it's in honor of my parents who are always with me in spirit. I was sad at first when they passed away in 2014 and 2015, but now it's replaced by the happy memories I had with them. No one can imagine what it's like to lose your parents, but it's the most traumatic experience of a person's life. I have come to terms with the fact that my parents, though in spirit form, are always with me no matter where I go.
Preference for tone is subjective, and although you may not like her cavernous timbre, that is simply your opinion, it is a matter of taste. What is a matter of fact however is that Anastacia on a technical level is a phenomenal singer who has a properly connected range from her solid well supported lower register to her powerful upper chest register that achieves great resonance. The fact that you do not like her distinct tone is of no relevence to the objective of her terrific technique
