No, the cuf adjustment system does not work. It is the one thing that made me decide to get another jacket when my old Brede was worn out. If they improve that, I would buy one again.
I used to work in a Trekking-Store for Years and tried out this Brede Jacket about 7 Years ago. It was the worst Jacket I ever tested! Its Design is great! Its Details are outstanding - I LOVED its Hood so much! But: It fell apart. No shit! After about 6 Month of only light use - daypacks only! At first it started to delaminate on the back, then the wrists startet to literally fall apart! And then the Zipper-slider slit the zipper's Sides open. It was like self-destructing.
Mikepopstar, I have som questions just out of curiosity...do you (still) have the compass attached on the cuf ? Does the cuf adjustment sistem work on youre Brede? Do you find the toggle on the collar useful? Did you ever use the customer support from Klattermusen and if so, how would you rate it? Many thanks and all the best!
I love my Breda jacket, apart from the cuff fastening, they do not work as you show in this video, im able to tighten them ok, but pulling on the rubberised 'pull' does not release the fastening. And reading below im not the only one to expereince this, come on @Klattermusen how about replyi9ng to your custmers asking questions here on youtube?
