These packs have proven to be both practical and comfortable for us, whether we're traveling abroad or hitting the trails for a camping trip. Do you have any questions about these packs or any tips for packing and organizing them to make the most of their capacity? We'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences.

Can you suggest about how many days the 50L will typically work for before someone should maybe consider upgrading to the 65L ?
Is there a smaller version to consider for day hikers or maybe overnight, or would the 50L still work well without feeling like overkill?

Did you have to use the ag 50 as checked luggage or carry on?

@@brandonfrommississippi we checked the bags when flying. We did see people using backpacks as carry on but fully loaded ours were bigger than the maximum size allowed.

Thanks for being the only who explained for the most part, how the anti gravity sliders have to be moved.

I think for actual backpacking they are way to heavy. I used similar backs and they worked well and were and are durable but again to heavy. I am an UL backpacker but you can get a similar style of pack by say Granite Gear that weighs about 2.5 pounds. I use Zpacks gear but for your use I would use the Granite Gear.
I do believe Osprey is making some lighter packs and their quality is very good. Nice review

Can the main compartment be opened from the side or front too?

The main compartment really only has 2 opening. The main entry point is the at the top of the pack. There is a smaller zipper entry point at the bottom which people usually will use for a sleeping bag.

Heard the atmos squeeks quite a bit. Is that true?

I have heard a few squeaks but nothing that bothered me.

What was the smaller backpack you were wearing on the front?

We use a Marmot Kompressor Plus 20l & REI Flash 22 as our day packs. We like that they pack down flat when not in use.
