    You cant take the country out of the boy, like me. But I watch a lot of these "farming" videos and just commented to my wife, "Some of the damn tractors are bigger than our barn was!" Not sure if that is good or not so good, but still growing up on a central NYS farm remembers far better than it lived. Does anyone agree?

    I use the HLA4200 Snow wing which I think is more versatile then the Snow way. With the hydraulic ends, I can push a ton more snow and direct it exactly where I want it to go. This is my 3rd snow wing. I also have a Schulte RDX117 front PTO blower but I rarely get a chance to use it. In the last 2 years we haven’t had any big storms.

    Thank you! I use a small Kubota L3901 with a blower but I love the plow idea for the front! Been thinking about it, you made my decision!!!

    You can use the snow blower to trim road side banks back,or deep drifts when it's ice under snow

    Your ready for 40 in of snow with your rig. I bet that thing will move some snow to especially since it looks like you use your snow shoes. I bet you use your snowblower only if ya have to with that nice vblade.

    I plow snow with an open station tractor with only a blade on the back so trust me I'm extremely jealous, lol, of course you plow a lot lot more snow than me, nice rig! Thanks for sharing really really like that blade.

    i have a straight blade snoway plow for my yanmar compact tractor. its the vehicle version plow but the mounts the plow fits into fits my loader in place of the bucket.

    Houston, We got a problem. Can you say Tier IV emissions junk? I recently purchased a low hour 2011 5083e with the Industrial wheels. I did not want to have to delete a new tractor such as I had to do with my trucks. I just did not have time to do the dpf/egr/scr/def delete on tractors. My local JD dealer told me to get 2012 and before. No one wants a frozen DEF tank! LOL!

    you're using a plow meant for a 6K lb pickup behind a 10K lb tractor. you must meet the limits of that plow pretty quick.

    Love it! I wonder what the difference between having a loader-mounted plow and front hitch-mounted plow is?
    + I support the rule about having kids inside when you're doing such operations, I do exactly the same!

    You need to set the boom on float

  • @shawnjerome8599

    Take your shoes a couple of the spacers out so your plows a little lower you weren't even taking anything off that last Road you went down

    Do you do all your snowblower work yourself? Seems a pain the neck without a camera or wife to guide?

    Interesting video.
    Can the shoes be adjusted up a little to have the plow cut better?

    • @RMSpeltzFarm
      @RMSpeltzFarm  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sure can they have about 4 inch ability to adjust

    Are the hydraulics controlled off of 3rd function and diverter valve, or is it a separate joystick similar to a plow truck? I've current got a fisher 7'6" straight blade on a Kubota b2650 and absolutely love it.

    • @RMSpeltzFarm
      @RMSpeltzFarm  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The hydraulics we have setup to run off the loader joystick, the loader still does up and down of the whole unit and with with the added front hydro values as optional on this one you can run the right or the left with the trigger on the loader joystick and the right and left of the joystick does the tipping and tilting. There is rocker button on the plow plugged into the 12 v lighter and it lets you decide if you wan to on the joystick trigger run the right or left side of the plow. Sorry kinda hard to explain but works great.

    Shuttle shift transmission or hydrostatic?

    • @RMSpeltzFarm
      @RMSpeltzFarm  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Transmission is the new shift less, basically no clutch petal needed even though it has one, its all done electronically.
