The Young and the Restless' Melissa Ordway (Abby Newman) chats with Michael Fairman on the red carpet at the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
Melissa shares that soon Abby will finally have scenes with her on-screen mother, Ashley, played by Eileen Davidson who is currently suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder, and teases what that could mean for the story.

I loved Melissa's look at the Emmys. She looked very princessy & beautiful. Both of Abby's families have dramatic storylines right now but she isn't part of it. That makes no sense. Adam is the black sheep detested Newman & Abby is the forgotten Newman. Abby & Adam should bond as they are the family outcasts. They need to write better for her. I love the outfits she wears on the show.
