I use deadlift slippers, a strength shop brand specifically, low price but I didnt get them for deadlift I got them because I prefer to squat without shoes but my socks would feel unstable and slippy on the wood of the platform so these solve that problem.
Nice! I’m personally really enjoying barefoot shoes. The Xero Prios are nice with the midfoot support straps. I’ve looked into slippers and deadlift shoes, but they stop around size 13 or 14 US/ 48 EU
Thank you for this mate. Question - can you use weightlifting shoes for deadlifts? Honestly I just want to buy one pair of shoes I can squat and deadlift in
I don't recommend it and I've filmed a video and have written an article about this before. IMO, just cop one pair of shoes but take off your lifters before you pull. Added heels will change deadlift setup mechanics & add ROM to your pull.
Do you have the Sabo Deadlift Pros? IF so how do they compare from the original? I've heard someone else mention the newer ones aren't ideal for heavier loads due to the slight heel elevation it has.
No, I’m not sure if I’d like them for squatting due to the higher boot - wouldn’t want to limit dorsiflexion at all. Could work though I suppose if you left the top of the boot a bit more loose!
Thanks for this, was looking into getting a pair of deadlift slippers ;)
Welcome! Awesome, hope they help out with the tuggin'!

Love it - great substitute

Hell yeah, we could also remove the insole in them for comp purposes moving down the road to replicate more barefoot pulling styles 💪💪

Deadlift slippers can be use for all leg routine?(Slippers like the green ones you show in the video) or only Deadlift literally? Haha
They can be used for lower days, too
@@thatfitfriend preferely deadlift shoes or minimalist shoes? Are similar?
I go barefoot or wear the vivobarefoot shoes for leg day. Good grip and contact with the floor, toe box is free, phalanges get stronger.

I do not, unfortunately! I wasn't the biggest fan of them when I saw them and decided not to grab a pair. Sorry I'm not more help here!
HOW MANY SHOES DOES THIS MAN HAVE!!! LOL❤️😂
Passion or addiction? 🤔 😂
@@thatfitfriend both?😉😂
@@sophiedaigle8501 I guess there are worse vices to have 🤦🏼♂️
