This is a reference to not only a boss in The Village but also a reference to how the developers originally wanted to use dolls in Resident Evil 2 as a enemy for Leon to go up against.
A video game Detail I found a couple days ago is that in halo 4 during the middle of the level "dawn" some dialogue changes depending on whether or not you listen to the system diagnostics at the beginning of the level.

A hidden video game detail in Lego Batman (the oldest one) is that, the characters you play as have a unique takedown animations besides from punching. Well, if you play as Poison Ivy her takedown is a mouth-mouth deadly kiss, but she will not perform this special takedown against female enemies, only male (and creature-like) characters.

(I think it's not in map rotation right now, but should be next week when the new season start) Every character has a special voiceline that plays when pingin the satute, although sometimes it might just be the usual "statue here", you maybe have to try a bit to get the special ones. But even then it's still funny that that statue has its own "statue here" voiceline for everyone xD
Found a nice fallout reference in Grounded. After defeating the Mant (antman hybrid), you get a mutation called Manterious Stranger. Just like the mysterious stranger in fallout, randomly in battle, a Mant will show up and fight with you.
I don't know if you have covered this in your Easter Egg/Hidden Details series but can't hurt to say it. In the game Guacamelee!: Super Turbo Championship Edition, there are alot of easter eggs on the posters in the background of the game. There is for example a Batman vs Bane poster when you are in the land of the dead in Santa Luchita and also a poster with the text "the Los Super Hermanos tag-team" which pictures Mario and Luigi. There is also to Castle Crashers, Goat Simulator just to name a few more, but there is a ton hidden on the posters. Another easter egg or detail if you would call it is, when you run from the Alebrije in a chase scene in Guacamelee!: STCE, you finish it the same way you finish Bowser on the bridge in the Mario games by making the floor disappear with the axe. Even X'tabay says that our protagonist princess is in another castle. There are many references in Guacamelee!: STCE beside those above, so hope that gave some things to look into. PS. Also each character has a different phone case
Adding on to the nice Saints Row 2 details (can't remember if you covered it or not but fun to bring it back up): in the mugging/hold up diversions the amount of money you get varies on the type of npcs and the location of the store (IIRC). Mugging one of the homeless beggars will net you pocket change while robbing someone in the more high end district will give you more (would be funny if the college students did the same). Likewise robbing sloppy seconds a second hand thrift store found in the projects or poorer side of town won't give you nearly as much as a high end store like Impressions. Although it's done so that you slowly build up money to buy things you need to do it, I do love how they made that so organic to the game that it becomes a clever detail.
I haven't seen you cover a reference in Hogwarts Legacy. At the beginning of the game, the main character is in a flying carriage. The carriage is being pulled by invisible animals. After they are attacked by the dragon, one of the passenger gets killed by the dragon, and right away the main character is able to see the dead horses. This is a small detail that only fans would know because only those people who have seen someone die would be able to see. In the movies, Luna (the weird friend) tells Harry that only people who have seen someone die are able to see them. She saw her mom die and Harry saw his parents get killed. Small detail that might have gone over people's heads.
Those invisible animals have a name and it’s Thestrals and they only to people who have seen/witnessed death and the main character’s case it was the death of guy from the ministry of Magic.
Depending on what you chose to do with Jackie's body either send him to Vic or his family, v will have different lines of dialogue when calling jackie, and through the main storyline if you call after major story points v will tell jackie about what's been going on.
Fun facts ive heard that are also to do with Jacky, you can call his number through out the game. And V will say different things depending on missions you've completed

Don’t know if you’ve played it yet, but in My Friendly Neighbourhood, once you reach the park area, Gordon will have a conversation with Ricky the Sock which ends with Ricky annoying Gordon to the point where he shoots Ricky with The Stenographer to make him go away. And after he does that, The Stenographer will actually actually be missing a shot from its clip. And if you skip the cutscene, the clip is unaffected, since you never saw Gordon fire off a shot, which is pretty cool if you’re running low on ammo
In RDR2, before Arthur gets TB, if you decide to sing with the gang, he has more energy and takes slight breaths between lines, but after the side effects of TB start getting worse, if you decide to sing he takes much more noticeable breaths and has less energy while singing

In the original modern warfare game with captain macmillan if you shoot a wild dog it's pack will kill you indicating that the howls before you kill it are coordinance that let them know where it was
in cp2077, in a side gig you go into Valentino territory to steal data from a boss in his pub. one hidden way to gain access is if you do the gig after Jackie passes and walk up to a guard on the stairs. he'll tell you to leave, but you'll get an option that says you recognize him from the funeral. he'll then ask to have drink with you in memorial and will let you into the restricted floor. in 330 hours and 3 playthroughs i never realized this and always ended up massacring everyone.... woops
just came here to second the dialogue for Cyberpunk changes depending on the choices of the game and the progression . I think the dialogue in the video, is from the instance where you choose to send Jackie's body to Vic then it gets abducted by Arasaka. You then get the chance to talk to a piece of Jackie's conscious later on in the playthrough. Spoiler!

I started playing the GTAV story again and after one of the early Michael/Franklin missions I jumped into Michaels car as Franklin and I got a text from Michael saying his cars been stolen and that it better not have been you (Franklin)

In the original Resident Evil 2, when you meet the gun store owner, it is possible to take his shotgun after he is killed by zombies. If you do so, you'll find that the gun is missing a single shot, from when he tried to defend himself. If you pick up the shotgun at the police station, however, it is fully loaded.
This isn't the only such time the games take into account the weapon's usage in cutscenes. In Code Veronica, Claire starts the game finding a handgun then immediately fires off three shots. Check the item innyour inventory when the scene ends and it shows it has twelve bullets, three less than the maximum of fifteen.
Also in Code Veronica and the X re-release, the boss fight against Nosferatu has a unique ending cutscene. You're meant to use the sniper rifle to shoot the monster during the fight, but if you use the knife instead, Claire will end the fight by plunging it into the mobster's heart. It is incredibly badass.

I believe there is a chance that the bombs could go off in Fallout 3. I have seen it happen before, I don't know how it happened though.
In COD WW2 if you put a granade on your rifle and inspect your gun, the soldier will not inspect the gun but he will inspect the granade infront of the rifle.

@@CaptainEggcellent Don't fear I didn't waste your time, I've found a new easter egg/detail i'm not quite sure on the asylum map, if you enter the pillow cusion room in the basement on your left with a UV light it seems there was some patient who had been there for a long long time, seeing as the entire wall is filled with the days they have counted
