I always saw it as more of a rhythm game to just vibe and relax to if you’re already well acquainted with rhythm games. Most of the music people make for this game bop. Except the spammy parts, those take no skill and require fast asf tapping rather than note reading
FNF songs on osu are easy because of three main factors. You're able to change the scroll speed. You can change the skin. The charting on focuses on the vocals and not into yeetting every single instrument on the 4 notes that can be pressed 🙃 Btw, yeah i'm a 6 dig in osu!mania before anyone point out 🤡
Tbh the thing about fnf is that, at least from my experience, a lot of the charts can BE difficult, but the engine, especially when you're using Kade, is super forgiving. Like, the recent ballistic rechart. The ending is a long jumpstream with lots of ministaircases as well, and yet, because of how forgiving the engine is, even though I'd get whooped in any other rhythm game, I can take it on pretty easily. Plus, in FNF, you can survive with absolutely horrible acc

I've noticed most FNF maps are like that when brought to osu I think it's a matter of charting style, because in FNF you have most charts, even some of the most difficult, always having 1 key press at a time, there's barely any double notes or overlapped hold notes Meanwhile in osu, even 1-2* songs tend to have overlapped notes and doubles I also notice low star songs in osu tend to be slow with a lot of hold notes, meanwhile in FNF the patterns are usually faster (just compare songs from weeks 1 or 2 in FNF to some 1* songs)
