So beautiful! I just repotted mine- it’s currently laying out to dry. Mine’s fairly young but I think I caught it within 8 hours of the leaves starting to turn. Prayers needed 😂🙏🙏

I just tried to rescue my very dry ZZ plant...removing from the soil and repotting in good quality potting mix...after removing dead roots that cracked off themselves....the bulbs were firm but not solid...and the thicker roots felt firm but not dead. I guess we'll see....🤞

Thank you for this video. I removed my struggling ZZ from the soil last week and removed all the dead roots. I still have repotted them yet. I'll use regular soil and add some perlite and hope for the best.

What does underwatering look like and what does too much light look like? I have a pot of ZZs that I've been keeping under grow lights next to some succulents and have been watering both of them at about the same cadence (namely when the succulents start looking a bit wilty). The succulents are doing fantastic, but the ZZ has lost several smaller stems. When I unpotted it, the soil was bone dry and there were no signs of root rot.

Stem and leaves turned black after 20 days of repotting. I got it online in 1 inch polythene in cocopeat but I washed it and planted in soil after removing cocopeat. What to do now?

i water my zz 1 cup of water slowly with a bulb about every 2-3 weeks because i forget about it.
it cant be over watered. its 1 US standard cup or 8 fl ounces not one full container.

Yes. The rhizomes were healthy though. only the roots were affected.
