B.C.'s pharmacists train to administer vaccines by injection

The BC Pharmacy Association has been providing injections training for pharmacists since 2009.
As of the end of 2021, more than 4,700 pharmacists in British Columbia have received injections authority. The majority of flu vaccines in B.C. are now delivered by pharmacists, and pharmacists also now administer a significant proportion of B.C.'s COVID-19 vaccines.
