Well guys and gals, this wraps it up for my PGI footage from 2021! There will be one more video with all the best footage I got of the entire week, compiled into one video coming tomorrow! One thing to note here is when PGI was in Gillette, WY in 2019 I received a lot of comments saying I need to get further back with the camera so the full break of these big aerial shells is in frame. This year I wanted to do that however in wide angle I do see it looks a little too far away… trust me im working on finding that sweet spot for big shells and how to film them. It’s a lot harder than you might think, too close and the break goes OVER the frame, too far and the break looks small. I will try to get this figured out next year at PGI :) stay tuned!
Every year about a week before the fourth of July the Walmart in my town usually has two isles of safe and sane fireworks for sale. I'm going to have to talk to the manager and see if next year we could maybe just have one isle of safe and sane and then have another isle of totally friggin insane sh!t.
Seeing this makes me even more excited when I go to the big PGI Event in 2022. I'm really looking forward to the classes that show you how to build these shells and I'm hoping they'll let me build one and fire it off during the week long Event. All of it a long time dream and Bucket list item of mine. Maybe I'll see you there Cody and hopefully get you to autograph something for me!! Guess I'll buy one of your pullovers or shirts to bring with me. Really Like the Version 1 Pyro Crew Pullover, so that's probably going to be the thing I would like autographed!!
Difference would be night and day. These are 6 & 8” shells and they break way harder and wider than any consumer can (even overloaded) ever could. It’s quite the spectacle in person!
@@CodyBPyrotechnics yeah I had a pretty good feeling about that but just seeing a 6in can vs an 8 in ball, side by side would be spectacular from a distance
@@user-xe5eq9br1c wayy lower. Its just crazy to me to think that some canister shells are amazing.. but look like a spark in the wind compared to 6 and 8 inch shells.
If it’s just you attending it’ll be about $200 overall including membership fee and convention registration costs. If you bring your wife/girlfriend, expect to pay at least another $60 overall. If you want to eat here, I believe that’s about another $25-$50. It sounds like a lot, but with a year or saving I promise you it is SO SO worth it. The people you will meet here will be friends for life.

Corporate policy prohibits it from what I was told. Which is ironic because everything else they sell is from china.
Been waiting for some new pyro vids 👍
Hope to be able to go there one day.
Looks like pyro heaven
Great video
Great selection of videos - and don't worry about being further back - IMO it's way better than over filling the frame. Some really outstanding pyro.
Another great video Cody!!!!!! 👏🏽👏🏽One day I’m gonna save up all my money a be like you. 😁😆
Thanks for the epic vid Cody keep up the good work
Love the firework shows!!
That red white and blue flag shell was beautiful

I’m going to a PGI event in few months! I can’t wait to be a pyrotechnic.
awesome shells man i love that there are shells that are super cool and they have different effects
I wonder what the size comparison would look like between these crazy shells and like a master 💯 canister shell would be.

@@blakestratford9407wouldn’t a master, or any can of that matter break way lower than these balls?

The big boys!!
Nice I'm going to try to make it next year man.
Your the man bro
m-m-m-m-m-m-monster shell! holy shit!

How much does it roughly cost to go to the PGI convention or do I need to join PGI to go to this?

@@CodyBPyrotechnics I am on the east coast but if me and my wife ever road trip, we would love to do this.
Did Ned Gorski make it this year?
Man how'd you get Rick Flair to come and watch fireworks?
I am sort of early!
man the beauty of the fireworks is ruined by the amount of smoke 😑😑😑😑.
Anyone know how much powder is in just one of those "fireworkshow in a shell" , with all those effects in one shell
Man I wish I knew… I’m gonna guess it’s a $175 shell
5'000 gram give or take a few !!!
