- Hello friends!! Happy Easter! Alleluia for He is Risen!!! Happy Spring! Happy April (did you get fooled?)
Been a while since I’ve uploaded and I think it’s been even longer since I filmed this… I mentioned in the video filming around the new year so I think it must’ve been January haha! Life’s been busy so I haven’t been doing much on this channel, but now you get an extra long video to make up for the break :)
Let me know you’re favorite journal out of this collection in the comments along with any video ideas or requests :) thanks y’all!
I love that Slytherin journal. Much to my chagrin, I always wanted to be a Ravenclaw but come out of quizzes as Slytherin.
Haha and of course I wanted to be Gryffindor, but always got Slytherin too🐍 I’m thinking I may use that journal this fall… only the half blood Prince and the deathly hallows left for me to read in the series!!!
This video was so calming and interesting to watch. I love seeing the variety of different journals people buy. I like how you thrift journals as well. I have thrifted several of mine, and have found some good quality and unique styles that way.
I probably have somewhere around 20 unused journals, including pocket notebooks.
Thanks! It really is fun to see the notebooks that end up in need of a second home and nice to be able to provide that :)
I love my journals! I just finished number 35 yesterday. I am a Gryffindor. My mom just gave me a couple of Molskine journals. I really like it. I am using the purple one which I love because purple is one of my favorite colors.
That’s awesome! I haven’t thought to number or count my journals but maybe I will some day!
@@itsabelletime I just counted them yesterday. That is how I know how many I have finished.
I love the lady with a parasol journal! i have around 40 journals myself lol
It’s so pretty isn’t it! 40 blank or filled or both?
@itsabelletime I have 43 blank journals currently and I have filled 13 ^_^ but I'm now filling around one every month or two ?
I enjoyed listening to you 😊 this is a wonderful idea. Makes me inspired to share mine too. My favorite is actually the Taylor Swift notebook 😆
Thanks! Yeah I am excited to use that journal when the time comes :) I’ve previously used her All Too Well notebook for thanksgiving through the winter months and I loved it :)
You've got a great collection of journals-lots of variety! I really love that psychedelic one for spring! I think it's awesome that you thrift so many of your notebooks :)
thanks!! actually just finished the psychedelic one on Monday so I got to use it as we entered spring! & I'm very grateful for access to thrift stores around me :)
I love the peanuts notebook. So cute.
Isn't it!? now i'm even thinking about using it for my summer journal this year...!
Thank you for making this nice video. I am currently in a huge journal slump, I am not even in for making my monthly flip through. So I find a journal collection video somewhat inspiring. And relaxing. May I ask what the point of a prayer journal is and how it is being used? And can it potentially be used for pagan prayers as well? Greeting from a Ravenclaw. Have a nice day! 😀
Thanks for watching and commenting! I hope you’re not guilting yourself for your journal slump; there are different seasons in nature and our life and our hobbies, so we’re not gonna be journaling all the time. I prayer journal essentially to talk to God… because if I only did so in my head I’d never really think the things through that I need to. Sometimes I just tell God what’s happening in my life or I ask Him questions or I make pros and cons list in decision making and ask for His guidance. Sometimes I journal in gratitude. Recently for Lent I’ve been answering a prompt a day. That’s how I use one, but like any journal there’s not really rules, so you could use it for pagan prayer but I don’t know what that would look like for you because it would kind of be up to you.
@@itsabelletime Thank you for your answer. I do spiritual mediumship and I have many dreams of angels and such, but I never thought of writing my prayers down in any shape or form, except if it was some kind of invocation to an entity such as a pagan god, in order to re-use it in another ritual. So the topic intrigued me. I was recently thinking of building an altar space or shrine for God in my house. Most people have figurines of Jesus, the holy Mary and Angels, but I never saw a shrine for God himself, as an entity, in someone's home. I wonder how it would look like. :)
