    That clear plastic bag is good to maintain the prints for a while but it will be a problem with the lighting at the con, it's gonna reflect as people come forward to see it better.

      Thanks for the kind words! :) This is my old way of doing it from 2019-2021. My new method is the same but I don't use the plastic sheet protectors. I just tape directly to the back of the display prints and now there's no glare and it looks a lot more professional. I'm thinking about making a newer video showcasing the differences between the two setup styles.

      Another easy way is to simply forego the bags and use gaffer or packaging tape on the back of the prints. That's what I've been doing lately, it's harder to rearrange but it looks better with no glare.

    This is so incredibly helpful, thanks a ton for sharing! I've been to a couple of conventions so far and my display has been traaaaash, so I'm definitely going to implement this for my next cons in September. Question for you though, do you remember where you got your clips to hang your art?

    • @JetFalco
      @JetFalco  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you so much! This was my previous setup, for when showrooms and outdoor shows were humid, the plastic sheet protectors helped keep that humidity out and helped prevent any further damage to the display copies. I have since moved to trying without sheet protectors and using different clamp rings - simply to try an option without glare, but I still revisit this setup from time to time. It is super useful for when you want to move prints around easily and modify the display order. I am so happy you like it! :D The proper name for the clips, I believe are "Nylon Spring Clamps" and you can find them at any hardware store. 4.5 inch, I believe, but don't take my word on that. Amazon also sells them in various sizes, but since every display bar is different in diameter, you may want to stop by a local tool store and find the right size for your display. They are usually really cheap per unit, and some stores have bundled options if you're looking to save a bit more money. Thanks again for watching my video and commenting! :D That means a lot!

    Ok my question is do you also have a binder that holds all your prints too? If so what one have you found that doesnt make your art look like crap or have a nasty glare?

    • @JetFalco
      @JetFalco  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used this one when I sold 13”x19” prints and the pages were really well made, didn’t have too much glare. The removable pages make it easy when adjusting the order of prints. www.amazon.com/Art-Portfolio-Multi-Ring-Refillable-Binder/dp/B000RP55RG?pd_rd_w=CLSWR&content-id=amzn1.sym.1db61dc1-18bd-4e84-ade3-9872a4852ad6&pf_rd_p=1db61dc1-18bd-4e84-ade3-9872a4852ad6&pf_rd_r=6AYN0SGRTN7ABYACDES4&pd_rd_wg=OaCkq&pd_rd_r=c227a142-e49e-4916-816c-c2121d46c763&pd_rd_i=B000RP55RG&psc=1&ref_=pd_bas_bia_rpt_ba_s_4_sc

    Awesome! I have struggled with this problem! Going to try this next! What size prints do you sell vs what you display? Do you display the prints larger so people can see them from farther away? Or do you use the same size for both? ❤

    • @JetFalco
      @JetFalco  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching! 😄 This is actually my old setup, now I just use tape directly behind the prints without sheet protectors. I used to do larger prints for display, but that confused customers, so I just do the same 11”x17” size all around. Having a display portfolio propped up in the front of your table helps for anyone who wants to see them all up close!

      @@JetFalco Hey, I'm going to my first convention in a few weeks and I tried the setup with the sheet protectors but I didn't like how much glare it had. When you tape the prints directly, are you able to reorder your display prints without damaging them? I feel like you'd have to use scissors to cut the tape if you wanted to change the arrangement. Also, do you use a binder clip directly on the top print? Thanks man.

    • @JetFalco
      @JetFalco  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@suchaaverygoodartist I got sick of the glare a while back too and just tape the back of the print. They do get damaged a bit and have a certain shelf life before the prints have been too damaged to look decent and have to replace with another expendable display print. I don’t use clips anymore, I use a modded version of this www.homedepot.com/p/Home-Decorators-Collection-Oil-Rubbed-Bronze-Steel-Curtain-Rings-with-Clips-Set-of-7-DHU-ORB888002/303693345
