Miami has been scraping by in the East for a while now. They had a couple miraculous playoff runs (in the woeful East). But they are just a mediocre team. I too could see a big shake-up this summer.
I could see a shake up for sure. Alot of player would love to play in south beach, is that the motivation the team should be looking for... don't think so.
Blow up what? They never even built a team in the first place. Its been 2 above average players carrying a bunch of guys that wouldn't even play on other teams. You can't have a roster year after year made up of 6'4 -6'7 wings and expect to actually compete for a championship. Whatever Jimmy and Bam have done has been above and beyond what any reasonable person could expect with the teams they have around them. If Riley thinks Jimmy is the problem he is delusional. Riley is the reason this team has never got the personnel needed to compete with the best teams in the league. And the complete lack of size on this team year after year is a major reason why the smaller guys are injured. You got them out there trying to stand up to guys way bigger and stronger than them night after night. After years and years of this it takes its toll. Riley is also the guy giving absurd contracts to players and limiting their options for trades and free agent signings. Whatever failures this team has is 100% a management issue. Riley should just be thankful that they have been able to scrap together playoff appearances to make him not look like a complete clown.
Riley better be glad he's got rings from simply being in good situations with literally the 10 best players of all time and wade. He's blessed to even have these stars but heat culture right?
