You know this was solely the work of PLOT because Tony would've murdered them both. In the comics Steve has to fake a truce with Tony using an EMP to shut down his suit that's literally the only way he's able to put paws on Tony that entire war Tony's squad was whooping Steve's ass but because we gotta make Steve look good in his movie we have to have him solo fading most of Tony's team even though almost everyone of them could work Steve realistically. Peter would've manhandled Steve with ease, T'Challa is either equal to Steve if not slightly better in most of their fights, Vision would've vaporized Steve, and Rhodey would've hit Steve with a mean ass photon cannon. This is the very movie that started my dislike for the MCU the writing and power scaling became complete ass after that movie.
