Speaking of morals, Jin stops to stare at a painting that looks like a battle between heaven and hell, a fight between the right and wrong. This could mean that this is what Jin is thinking in his head at the time, he knows it's wrong but he wants to stay with his friends. Yoongi enters in a bike and in FIRE MV, Jungkook was riding on the bike as he was looking in at a sin (the hooded figure) in this clip he is beginning to be tempted. In the story Adam and Eve, they are tempted by an apple, the members are all seated at a tables, with Jin at the head, on their plates is a single apple and Jin appears to be making a toast of some kind. They are shown in an almost relaxed and calm state, as if they have made up their minds. Jimin is then seen with an apple (temptation) and Yoongi with a blindfold, Jimin is about to cover his eyes and make himself blind to what is right. V is then shown in a balcony, and with a smile he jumps. Here V represents the driving force for their temptation. Many religious believers say that any wrongdoing done by people is the use of an evil force- the devil, the devil is a fallen angel, hence why V is constantly falling. This also links to the painting from the beginning. *Hold that thought* Jin is also shown with hands covering his eyes but they slowly go as he realises what is happening to his friends, he is slowly coming to his senses about what is happening. This is also prominent in the RUN MV while others are running wild and he is almost separate. In I NEED U, V is shown doing the most damage; killing his father, he is then seen killing himself (by FALLING) as the members look on. Now, V is dead and he is tempting the members to follow him and commit the utmost sin, he wants them to kill themselves, too. Then, there is a narration, it shows Jin's inner monologue It says 'he too was a tempter' (Talking of V) 'He too was a link to the second, the evil world which I no longer wanted anything to have to do'. He talks to an 'evil world' the boys are being lead to, that he no longer wants to be apart of. It cuts then, to Suga playing the piano, in the wings teaser, he is also seen playing the piano. It is this that snaps Jin out of his trance; he remembers his old friend, and knows that Suga is no longer himself; he has been corrupted by sin. V then smiles, walking up behind and covering Jin's eyes himself. What Jin see's is a statue. It has wings like an angel, but they are black, the Angel is fallen, corrupted- he represents V. *Now- this is the interesting part* Jin kissed the devil. Now, traditionally this is how you would make a deal with the devil. At this point, everything is shown to go into chaos. Jimin takes his blindfold off. This means the 'spell' has worn off and he understands what they have done. Jin is seen looking up at a scripture in German and it says 'One must still have chaos in itself, to be able to give birth to a dancing star'. At the end, it cuts to Jin. He is staring at the same lilies which follow him throughout the whole universe, they represent friendship and devotion, and in Jin's case, his members. He then looks to himself and a small crack appears on his face, he is 'falling apart' without them. Whatever deal Jin made with V, it means he has to be apart from his friends, it could be that he has taken their suffering upon himself. In the song there are some interesting lyrics- 'take it all', 'your wings are the devils', 'I can't even escape anymore'.

"He looks like a piece of art" 👏🏼 I agree mann but thanks for the reaction guys there's a ton of theories on the whole video like the eerie part where Jin (Statue dude) walks to the statue with the black wings ... and taehyung(his back was showing) had two scars where the wings would've been placed indicating that he was the "devil" or fallen angel most likely devil since the wings were black that killed or hurt the rest of the members or possibly Jin (INU,RUN,SAVE ME) but I'm not really sure just a theory I heard

Jin was making a deal with the demon, which was sealed by a kiss. V is the fallen angel = demon, so he indirectly kissed V and all hell breaks through...that's why everything cracks and tears come out of the statue, Jimin, virgin Mary. The color of blood and tears are green, representing the devilish temptation that is now exploaded and over taken the innocent boy Seokjin and he's now a grown man :)

Jin, Jk, V comes from realm of death and RM , Suga,Jhope, Jimin from realm of life. The part where Jk is swinging: according to Greek mythology, it refers to "youth never comes back that is they will never be innocent or happy becoz already they became a part of evil ...then comes Suga who is shown sitting on the glass ground depicting nearly falling into deep dark hole ...and in RM part he holds a glass with green liquid which depicts that after Jins death RM is depressed and wishes every other membe was in good state, in another part shows RM is standing near a picture which is fully blach and says "u need to survie"which refers his depressed mental health bcause of his attempts to save everyone from evil is in vain, so he drinks the liquid given by the evil which temptates him by giving hope that if he drinks it he could get what he want so finally he drinks and he chooses evil path without even realizingthat he was tricked by the evil ...and in Jimin an Suga part - Jimin is hilding an apple (symbol of temptation of sin ) and suga realised and clear minded about things that were happening around him, so he covers Jimin's eyes with blindfold to avoid him from eating that apple (evil temptation).... in Jhope's part- he was sitting on the chair filled with black water but it didn't reach him bcause he was the only one wih his emotions under his control so the evil can't reach him ..and he tries to shoot V(icarus) with an arrow...on one part it shows V jumping out from a balcony and u could see the painting of sea on the wall as a background, it shows that V jumped into the sea so he lost his wings ....and at last part everyone is running towards an exit which depicts that almost everyone came out from the temptation of evil and trying to escape from it...but V covers Jin's eyes and asks him to come along with him... and Jin makes a deal with icarus(V) that he will come along with V if icarus leaves the innocent boys back...so icarus accepts the demands of Jin by making the boys free from his evil temptations. ..so Jim kisses the statue with black wings and chooses evil path to save them and finally cracks up depicting fall of good .. u can see a liky flower near the mirror which depicts a girl who he loved and become depressed choosen to die in his previous life which is the reason for the suffering of his friends after his death , so regrets for not thinking clearly before he died in his past and this is connected to "awake MV".. ..and V(icarus) was the one who fought against his surroundings and killed his father to save her sister from him in his past, this is related to the MV"Ineed u girl" and "RUN" MV...... this may be a little cause every single thing is commected to each MV...... So, I'm sure you've heard that all the narrative from Rap Monster is quoted from a book called Demian. They pretty much have been following a lot of storylines from the book as well. There is a boy named Sinclair and the book is about him finding himself/growing up. There is a second main character named Demian, and he is a bit of a guide for Sinclair. Jin is supposed to represent Sinclair, and the members are all parts different parts and aspects of him. They each represent something; like Taehyung was his innocence. However, since he killed his father, he lost his innocence. He's a "fallen angel". Also, when V jumps off the balcony, the painting in the background is of the Icarus story where he flies too close to the sun. In the book, Demian, Sinclair kisses Demian, as well. So, go look up the book stuff. And also, Josh Binders reaction videos to the WINGS short films and stuff has really cleared up a lot for me.
I'm thankful y'all actually pay attention to everything in the video. I know they're super sexy, you can't deny that I mean did you see them? I mean damn..., but they put so much passion and hard work into the concepts I get sad when people miss the work they put into it. So thanks for paying attention to their deeper meanings.
My friend and I were talking about it, and from start to finish the theme we saw was a loss of innocence. Like in the beginning, they were running around the grandiose, luxurious museum, playing on a swing, climbing stuff like kids. And I think that signifies them in real life surrounded by fame and money, but they still saw themselves as kids. They cover each others eyes or have blindfolds signifying the naiveté they walk in, but in the end they take the blindfolds off and are crying and cracked. This signifies the realization of the loss of innocence. They are no longer children, and that struggle leaves them with cracks in their facade.
This is by far my favorite channel with reaction videos! They always cover the creation of each group's works -- the music, the choreo, the technique.. And super engaging. Love you guys and psyched for BTS
the whole concept of wings is Boy Meets Evil inspired by the book Demianand it had a lot of things related to temptation. Jin is the boy and V, the one without wings, represents all thats evil. So when Jin kissed the statue, he met evil. That's why V was smiling. It's also why Jin was cracking in the end because he was no longer pure and innocent.
yes, when i was listening i kinda felt that reggaeton undertone but i wasn't sure :) this video was BEAUTIFUL, like oh my goodness. The part where Jk is swinging: according to Greek mythology, it refers to "youth never comes back that is they will never be innocent or happy becoz already they became a part of evil ...then comes Suga who is shown sitting on the glass ground depicting nearly falling into deep dark hole ...and in RM part he holds a glass with green liquid which depicts that after Jins death RM is depressed and wishes every other membe was in good state, in another part shows RM is standing near a picture which is fully blach and says "u need to survie"which refers his depressed mental health bcause of his attempts to save everyone from evil is in vain, so he drinks the liquid given by the evil which temptates him by giving hope that if he drinks it he could get what he want so finally he drinks and he chooses evil path without even realizingthat he was tricked by the evil ...and in Jimin an Suga part - Jimin is hilding an apple (symbol of temptation of sin ) and suga realised and clear minded about things that were happening around him, so he covers Jimin's eyes with blindfold to avoid him from eating that apple (evil temptation).... in Jhope's part- he was sitting on the chair filled with black water but it didn't reach him bcause he was the only one wih his emotions under his control so the evil can't reach him ..and he tries to shoot V(icarus) with an arrow...on one part it shows V jumping out from a balcony and u could see the painting of sea on the wall as a background, it shows that V jumped into the sea so he lost his wings ....and at last part everyone is running towards an exit which depicts that almost everyone came out from the temptation of evil and trying to escape from it...but V covers Jin's eyes and asks him to come along with him... and Jin makes a deal with icarus(V) that he will come along with V if icarus leaves the innocent boys back...so icarus accepts the demands of Jin by making the boys free from his evil temptations. ..so Jim kisses the statue with black wings and chooses evil path to save them and finally cracks up depicting fall of good .. u can see a liky flower near the mirror which depicts a girl who he loved and become depressed choosen to die in his previous life which is the reason for the suffering of his friends after his death , so regrets for not thinking clearly before he died in his past and this is connected to "awake MV".. ..and V(icarus) was the one who fought against his surroundings and killed his father to save her sister from him in his past, this is related to the MV"Ineed u girl" and "RUN" MV...... this may be a little cause every single thing is commected to each MV...... So, I'm sure you've heard that all the narrative from Rap Monster is quoted from a book called Demian. They pretty much have been following a lot of storylines from the book as well. There is a boy named Sinclair and the book is about him finding himself/growing up. There is a second main character named Demian, and he is a bit of a guide for Sinclair. Jin is supposed to represent Sinclair, and the members are all parts different parts and aspects of him. They each represent something; like Taehyung was his innocence. However, since he killed his father, he lost his innocence. He's a "fallen angel". Also, when V jumps off the balcony, the painting in the background is of the Icarus story where he flies too close to the sun. In the book, Demian, Sinclair kisses Demian, as well. So, go look up the book stuff. And also, Josh Binders reaction videos to the WINGS short films and stuff has really cleared up a lot for me.

My friend and I were talking about it, and from start to finish the theme we saw was a loss of innocence. Like in the beginning, they were running around the grandiose, luxurious museum, playing on a swing, climbing stuff like kids. And I think that signifies them in real life surrounded by fame and money, but they still saw themselves as kids.
They cover each others eyes or have blindfolds signifying the naiveté they walk in, but in the end they take the blindfolds off and are crying and cracked. This signifies the realization of the loss of innocence. They are no longer children, and that struggle leaves them with cracks in their facade.

the whole concept of wings is Boy Meets Evil inspired by the book Demianand it had a lot of things related to temptation. Jin is the boy and V, the one without wings, represents all thats evil. So when Jin kissed the statue, he met evil. That's why V was smiling. It's also why Jin was cracking in the end because he was no longer pure and innocent.

yes, when i was listening i kinda felt that reggaeton undertone but i wasn't sure :) this video was BEAUTIFUL, like oh my goodness.
