@@a3marketing991 it really is some cool diving. Sometimes the fish are good and sometimes not so much but it’s still cool to dive. I remember hearing all about the grounds as a kid of dives made in the 70s. Wish I could have seen it back then.
Thank you, Jason. You have started to fill the void in my heart that Dan Macmahon left. You are on time, brother. It seems like you can't miss. Well done.
Dan must have encountered something that had a dramatic influence on him. I'm joking. Hope alls well with. I enjoyed his dives. He had it down to science , get down, go for the best first and back up. Dive safe , this is as close as I get. Thank yall
Yeah it was fun. Did ok on the trip. Was a short two day. Starting a little late and back early enough to get home before dark. Was the first trip we all did together and was figuring everything out. We ended up using all our ice and had about 650 pounds of fish.
You looked like freakin' Wyatt Earp down there at the OK Corral! Nice shooting! And that boat looks like the easiest to get on and off of. Nice setup for diving.
@Mike-hb4pc yes and I like how the platform is out of the water so things don’t get swept off. Big handrails and plenty of room on deck. He had 6 tank racks on the transom and a bunch in front of the console. 4 boxes in the deck for fish and ice and a big food cooler in the leaning post.
That was a mang bang. Great shooting . The times I dove the MG seems you need to stay where you find the fish and make the most or it. More seem to keep showing up. Looked like a group of gags by that tall rock.
@@jasonbihari forgive me, I ended up making the wrong word, in fact it is fishing for groupers that is prohibited, but groupers are not prohibited, in this case, you can catch groupers, but grouper fish cannot be caught, and the environmental police see it, they will be arrested
Nice job! I am especially impressed with how efficient you are at getting the fish on the stringer and reloading. I think it takes me about 5X longer (haha). Do you carry your stringer in your hand or do you attach it to your gear somehow?
@@jasonbihari Thanks for responding...you clip it off "high" no your BC D-ring or let it dangle from a lower D-ring on the BC. I always find it hard to deal with when clipped high, but don't like to have fish hanging off my hip if I clip it low.
I have a 6” piece of mono with a clip on either end that I clip it to. It is off my hip with a little bit of flexibility. If I get too far into structure, I can run my arm through the stringer so it doesn’t get caught on things and if it makes you feel better with the sharks, you can do the same and just drop it to have a free hand while loading.
I dove the Middle Grounds many times, but it's been years. It's such a beautiful area on the FL West Coast.

He had a lot of years at it and was nice enough to show some of it to us. Hopefully he’s doing well.
I thought I was the only one who felt this way!! Where’s Dan tho? I pray he’s good😢
@fitzroyguiness7401 sold his boat and moved out of state

Nice shot on that 3rd snapper 👍
Thank you

That boat is set up nice for diving. Love that ladder.
@@jasonbihari Puts you at the back of the boat, out of the current, with plenty of real estate to maneuver.

@Mike-hb4pc I think each box holds 350 pounds of fish iced.
Good stringer! Pretty cool spot.
Wish I could have gotten one of those mutton
@@jasonbihari Next time.

Every one else had gotten some at that point but me. I needed one for an online tournament I was in.

I’m surprised they let your comment show up. They deleted my reply that had some of those words in it. They are getting ridiculous.
Como foi essa pescaria aí, bastante peixe
Good
Como que esse mero, não comi esse peixe da sua mão, já vi em alguns vídeos, o mero pegando peixe do arpão do cara, e levando o peixe, para a toca dele
The big grouper? They were protected here for some reason.

I see tons of people trying to hold onto their stringer the whole time. It makes them so slow and cumbersome.

Yeah, that was a mess up in the editing that I never caught.😂
Sad to see no large mangoes anymore😫
What do you consider large?
The stories of the middle grounds from back in the 70-80s was lots of snapper but not big snapper. 2lb average. The decline is in the hogs and scamp.
Uma covardia,com ar respirável, assassinato
What does that mean?
