4:51 Awesome review! I installed the left side of the style B smoked version (did not have the tiny rear facing LED). Then I turned off my garage light and compared the two. The new mirror lights actually ended up dimmer than the OEM light when viewed from the rear of the vehicle. I'll get the style C squared off version like you mentioned in your video. I think that solves all my concerns.
I don't really care how bright turn signals are from the front of the vehicle. But rear facing turn signals are super important for changing lanes in my opinion.

Yes, also you need the mirrors with light because your mirrors doesn’t have the cutout for the light and I think they doesn’t have the part that holds the lights in place

Do you think this new one is good quality? They look nice.
I have a problem with the old ones. Almost a year ago, I bought a set of side mirror turn signals and the right side already doesn’t work anymore.
The seller also that said they light up white for day time running lights, then orange for turns.
They never went white at all.
I hope one day they can make the mirrors light up white for daytime too.

Why does your hood look to have a gap? Is it open at the time of this video or is that the result of an aftermarket hood struts? Btw, I wish they would make the old style with extra led like the new style since the whole purpose of side blinkers is to warn cars behind you.

If you have the 2018 get the one for your 2018, this one is not gonna work, and run the cables from the front turn signal

I have. just don’t touch the camera parts. Everything else is exactly the same. The plastic cassette with two screws will go loose but you won’t be able to pull it right out be careful otherwise you will break it. Patience
