I'm a fan of this song and I quite like the Lostprophets but I'm not quite sure of this cover. It's one of those songs that you just can't cover without being Phil Collins.
@topgear, we totally agree. There are just some songs that should NEVER be covered. And THIS is one of them. They DESTROYED this song. This is worse that Mariah Carey's cover of "Bringin' on the Heartbreak" by Def Leppard.
@avanter19 this ain't nu-metal, and on top of that: you not liking a genre doesn't mean it actually IS bad. Since it's music that people put time and soul in, it's good. Bad music is music made by people who don't care. Bad music can be liked, good music can be disliked get over it.
I'm a Lostprophets fan and a fan of this song, but his voice is more suited to the kind of hard rock they usually do, and since this song is carried by the vocals and the drums, it doesn't work for me. Sorry.
