Can you do a segment on how to pair with shoes? I need all the help for that. Everything from how to wear them with sneakers to night out. I need all the help
I have a pair of Mother barrel jeans that I bought in 2020 before I even knew what a barrel jeans was. I just loved them. I just picked up another pair of barrel jeans from Target that is very unique. They are mid rise and have a metal tab closure with a hidden button like a pair of trousers. They are by a brand called Future Collective. The wash is kinda like an acid wash. I just love them! So soft. Can’t beat the price either.
My favorite barrel jeans are the Free People Moxie jeans. I love it that they come in so many different colors/washes. I have them in Timeless Blue, Dutton, and Cowboy. I get compliments every time I wear them. I like it that they're so low waisted, and the rope tie makes them super fun. I'm only 5'2", but I buy the regular length (some of the washes do come in short), because I like to wear them cuffed at the bottom. I also have two pairs of the Good Luck jeans, and I like them as well, but they're definitely a more exaggerated silhouette than the Moxies. Ever since I started wearing barrel jeans, I find I hardly ever want to wear more fitted jeans anymore. You can throw the simplest top on with barrel jeans and a great pair of shoes, and the jeans automatically elevate the look.
I have a pair of Kenna mid-rise heritage barrel jeans from Pilcro at Anthropologie, and love it! I'm looking for another pair in a dark wash but slightly more straight leggy than barelesque, but it's not easy finding one for a shortie at 5 ft, lol. I also prefer them mid-rise because it's a lot more comfy. You look great in all of yours, being tall and svelt!
I have two pairs of Madewell Jeans and I love them. I have my typical size in the standard length and sized down in the tall pair. I don't know why it took me so long to get a pair.

Check out the Pilcro Barrel Jean. Lighter weight than the FP Good Luck jeans, which I love, too!
