My go-to shoe right now has been the Ride Concepts Powerline. Just bought my second pair for 90 bucks. Can't beat that deal. Though I may buy the Five Ten Freerider DLX shoe because I like how they are a full leather build.

I have some RC Hellions in the fold and they are good. Five Ten is hard to match in grip department

how is the grip ? of course 5.10s are grippiest, but mine Freerider Pro and Freerider died (torn outersole by OneUp pedals) quite fast (few months :/ )

The grip was better than expected. Of course 5.10 is the king but like you experienced, they can wear out faster. The Dakine also seems to hold up better as they aren't as sticky. Most big name flats provide a lot of grip so ultra sticky soles aren't as high a priority I think.

I'm going to get these shoes. Would you say they run true to size or should I go up/down a half size from my regular size?

I normally wear 11.5. I sized up to 12 as most bike shoes I've worn are on the small side. These are a touch big so for me the 11.5 would have been a better choice. Also these aren't as paded around the foot as others so they feel more roomy. Not uncomfortable but may need more cinching down with the laces compared to other shoes.

Can you wear these casual just for brand fashion and use with street BMX Bikes

Yes you could. They are easy to walk in and sole is comfortable. Thanks for watching
