- MAJOR NFL news in today’s AFC North roundup: Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker was accused of inappropriate behavior by six massage therapists and the NFL is looking into the allegations against Tucker and investigating the matter with the Baltimore Ravens kicker. Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson was suspended for 11 games in the 2022 season and fined $5 million by the NFL for similar sexual conduct accusations. Tucker has denied the accusations and admitted that he never received complaints from a massage therapist. In Cincinnati Bengals news, wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are awaiting massive contract extensions from the Bengals. It’s really pissing me off on how Justin Tucker isn’t getting as much hate as Deshaun Watson did

It’s because he’s good (or used to be). People magically change their opinion when it’s a good player, just look at Ben R.
@@SyWoit Yeah, for sure. If Watson had returned to his 2020 form, a lot of things would be different. Also Tucker is a kicker. Truly nobody cares about kickers. Look at Harrison Butker.
Well, hes a kicker not a QB, it’s about 1/4 the amount of allegations, they occurred almost 10 years ago, and the process is just getting started. A lot different then the Deshaun situation so far.
Because there’s not much to the allegations. The women in DeShaun Watson’s case had texts and emails in some cases but here there’s none of that. There’s a letter to a spa that that was produced recently by a female to her employer that Tucker cut ties with not the other way around. He’s got multiple spas and therapists saying he’s never in more than a decade made any inappropriate actions towards them. And Tucker never has had ANY issue in the past unlike Watson who had many prior issues prior to his allegations. That is why the situations are being handled differently at this point. That may change as investigations continue. You have to take in the character of the individuals and their starting points at the allegations. No one situation is going to be handled the exact same way. That’s just how it is.
I'm surprised the Browns haven't offered Justin Tucker a fully guaranteed contract yet

If the allegations become true, for how much Watson went thru (and tame compared to Tucker), I hope Tucker gets suspended for the year and the league goes after the Ravens for hiding all of it.
