The fact that there is already an excessive amount of demand awaiting its absorption, despite how everyone is frightened and calling the crash, is another reason why it is less likely to occur that way. 2008 saw no one, at least not the broad public, making this forecast, as I'll explain below. The ownership rate was noted to have peaked in 2004 in the other comment. Having previously peaked in the second quarter of 2020, we are currently at the median level. Between 2008 and 2012, it dropped by 3%, and by the second quarter of 2020, it had dropped from 68 to 65.
Real estate and stock investments may be good decisions, especially if you have a solid trading strategy that can see you through prosperous days.
You're not doing anything wrong; the problem is that you don't have the knowledge needed to succeed in a challenging market. Only highly qualified professionals who had to experience the 2008 financial crisis could hope to earn a high salary in these challenging conditions.
Recently, I've been considering the possibility of speaking with consultants. I need guidance because I'm an adult, but I'm not sure if their services would be all that helpful.
Finding financial advisors like Melissa Terri Swayne who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
Thanks for sharing, I just liquidated some of my funds to invest in the stock market, I will need every help I can get.
Canada really doesn’t want the bubble to pop. The housing bubbles gotta pop sooner or later. If not interest rates will stay elevated
Its always the public that has to 'come to terms' with increasing prices and interest rates! Never the politicians, greedy banks and developers
The final decision is the buyer. Truth hurts.
@@truthteller6743 The decision to put a roof over their families' head or live on the streets. Not really a decision is it. Truth does hurt
@@MrPatrick1414 And Trump helps with that. Did you know Trump paid the mortgage on the slain officer in Georgia to help his wife and children? What did Biden do?
Truth hurts.
@@MrPatrick1414 Move. That is what I’m doing. People always have options. If you think you don’t, you aren’t looking hard enough. Truth hurts.
@@truthteller6743 Its not that simple. Truth does hurt
TRREB analyst? No bias here, I'm sure lol
U think renters who can't afford $1 increase in rent can afford to buy with high payments and down payment 🤔 😐
He's a TRREB analyst literally paid to prop up housing lol.
I agree alot are broke more then they ever been
😂delusional
You are right, the problem is income ratio vs housing price
I wish they would ask pointed questions to guests that choose to be boldly intellectually dishonest.
TRREB Analyst 😂😂😂😂
FYI folks ,5% rates are NOT HIGH. That is the normal rate over the last 50yrs.( if not higher) Talk to the people who had 19% or 13% MTG ,NOW THAT IS HIGH..They need to keep rates as is.Sink or swim, thats life..
Pop the bubble!
Homes across Canada 🇨🇦 are currently being built for the first time ever in its history
What is he smoking? How many people already has enough down payment and steady high income job choose to rent? If you can't afford any rent increases, for sure you can't afford to pay mortgage+condo fee+property tax+insurance+repairs.
What choice do we have! What a stupid statement!
Umm not me I’m about to starve to death
So many people use immigration growth as an argument ignoring the latest news about immigration cap and the Miller's proposal about increasing "domestic draws" for temporary residents who are already in Canada...
I have come to terms by getting a second job.
😢😢🤒😔🙏
Dovish view for sure.
Looks like his salary is tide to real estate always go up narrative 😂
So dumb. 😅
Bulls on parade!
