Just back from the gig. This was the opener and one of the highlights of a highly entertaining stage show. Within seconds I knew I had my money's worth :-) Awesome band to see live!
How these guys in their 60s still manage to own the stage and play with more aptitude and energy than most bands in their 20s baffles me. We're so lucky to have them. UP THE FUCKING IRONS!!!
i've seen Iron Maiden a few times but this was the best gig i have ever been to, set list, sound, atmosphere, and the band were all on point. Up the irons
Dale Buchanan Definitely the best I've saw them...some crowd in,I'd have been in front of Dave/Adrian,dropped back as they came on for the encores to make a quick exit to the car park,that place was rammed to the back doors.Usually you get 3/4 back and there would be some space,not last night....good to see,although there were quite a few idiots that couldn't hold their drink.
That's up against some stiff competition from the past! I've seen them in every decade including the eighties. However, I've seen the concert on TH-cam live in Scandinavia and I have NO reason to doubt that you're right. Spitfires and flamethrowers, here I come.
+Jojo. Did the same with my son when he was 10. Took him to Twickenham Stadium to see them in 2008. He returned the favour this year. Hope your daughter enjoyed it. Certainly glad that you did. Freedom!
