    SubhanAllah! Allah has created men and women as described in Quran and Hadith. There are certain strengths and weaknesses with either one. And that’s how they complete each other if done right by complimenting strength and filling in for the weaknesses. That’s how a we can pull the best out of
    each other instead of having a battle of sexes to then create an ideal society

    Allah has dignified man kind saying "Lakada Karamna" Bani Adam. He did not say he dignified men more or women more. He said humanity as a whole. We are equally dignified in the eyes of Allah Azzawajjal. However, inside of the humanity Allah also gave gender roles for each that are favored for men and favored for women. However spiritually we are equal to him. The only thing that distinguishes us is piety and good deeds.

    Is it not that Allah has favoured men over women only in this life, though? I thought that men and women received the same rewards in heaven? If men received better rewards simply for being men, then yes in this case Allah would favour men over women, but this is not the case. The rewards are based on merit, not on gender.

    • @saminyasir937
      @saminyasir937 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      I would not necessarily say Allah favoured men over women. As they are not equal, they are given different role and responsibility by Allah. If we are talking about authority, then yes authority is given to men more than women. But that doesn't mean, men are better, or women are better in this life. Superiority is determined by Takwa or piety and there are somethings in which men are naturally superior to women(i.e leadership, physique, etc) but they will be rewarded based on what they used to do as you have pointed out there's no difference between genders in that regard, It does not diminish their values in the slightest, it can be argued that having less responsibility means less things to answer for so, wouldn't that make women being more favoured than men? In the end Everything should be seen as a test. I think this verse is relevant here.
      “15. And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me."
      16. But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, "My Lord has humiliated me."
      17. No! But you do not honor the orphan
      18. And you do not encourage one another to feed the poor.
      19. And you consume inheritance, devouring [it] altogether,
      20. And you love wealth with immense love.” (al-Fajr 15-20)

Without a doubt women have their exclusive rights and responsibilities as men have their own exclusive rights or responsibilities. But neither were made inherently superior. Like the relationship between a general and lieutenant, although the general at a glance seems more important the lieutenant has more direct control of troops and is only superceded when the general is directly involved in an operation.

It should not be a problem for a well behaved woman to follow a man provided that the man is also on the right path of Islam.
      That's why before marrying, a woman should inquire about the religious know how and practicing nature of the man. If he is then I guess there shouldn't be any reluctance on her part to follow him.
