I really really want a season 2!!! I loved the movie and I loved the show. I like that it still has that 80’s feel without feeling forced-at the same time they aren’t trying to reinvent the wheel and make it so different it alienates the fans. It makes fun of itself a bit while providing us with a good ‘old fashioned quest. I love seeing Warwick Davis again, and I like seeing grownup Willow and hope the questions about what happened to the Nelwyn get answered.
From a cinematography point of view, I like the cuts between episodes and scenes; you don’t need to show every single detail all the time. The story flows naturally.
The only criticism I would have is the pop music is a strange choice, and the final episode really felt strange-not the writing, the editing. The CG was strange and it was soooo dark it almost felt sci-fi rather than fantasy.
This was such a fun adventure, I really hope we get to see more
The writing of the show could improve, there are many things that do not make any logical sense, but the cast? Love them! And truth be told I love the fantasy campiness mixed with rock music, it's really unique take on the genre. I hope Willows comes back for many other seasons, just with a more logical plot and less irrational choices from the characters. The rest is perfect.
Agree. Felt the dialogue was to modern using word like 'shut up' and 'like'(think 2000s high schooler) for example.

I am writing to you today to ask you to reconsider your decision to cancel the Wiillow TV show in favor of the Star Wars franchise.
Please, this series is more than just a TV show, it is the heart and soul of the queer community. At these time when it is still difficult to be accepted by society, you have, for the first time in your company, given life to a queer princess and her love relationship with her knight.
You have shown the world that we must accept ourselves, love ourselves, as we are and not be afraid of our difference. You have not sexualized this queer couple but you have given them a beautiful love relationship based on sincerity, simplicity and especially love.
Kit and Jade are a model for all the teenagers who are looking for answers to their emotions, Kit and Jade have shown them that loving each other is not a question of sex but simply of chemistry between 2 sincere human being.
The Willow TV show is filled with positive messages:

Love is the most powerful force in the universes. »
« My fears, it doesn’t get to decide. It doesn’t get to define me. I don’t let it that power.»
What other series represents so much in everyone's heart?
You started a fight, you brought happiness to a whole generation and today you have just broken thousands of hearts.
All these people who worked on this project, the cast, the technicians, the make-up artists, the costume designers, the writers... A whole team that worked hard to see this beautiful project come true.
This show had to go on, there are so much to develop on the story, the characters and even the return of Val Kilmer but you didn't give any chance.
The actors have given so much to their characters come to life.
When Mr. Walt Disney created his empire, it was to offer dreams to the world in order to escape from a sad and gloomy reality, where you have to fight every day to be yourself.
The values of this company are to produce magic and dreams.
In one day you have broken thousands of hearts, hopes, and dreams.
Please, think about it.
Everyone needs magic and dreams.
The world needs magic.

This show is so good
The show could have been great. The creators or the screen writers really lacked the event and story development aspects. Some events are really disconnected and uncorrelated to the main story line or previous events. The show could have been great. After watching, I have mixed feelings about this.

To be honest, I think the show is absolutely terrible. It lost my interest in the first episode and I dreaded watching the rest. I won't waste my time if they come out with anymore seasons. I wish Hollywood directors would stop trying to push their own agendas down your throat, it makes for horrific movies. It has totally disrespected the old characters and made no one like the new characters. They have made Willow a total buffoon. They have taken everything that you loved about him in the movie and totally degraded him. All because we can't have a strong male protagonist in his own show! Instead, they replaced him with Kit, a young, snarky (and let's not forget gay, because people totally were in mid evil times) teenage girl who thinks she knows more about life than anyone. And even though there were male characters, they made them all wimps. One of the good things from the movie was Madmartigan and how witty and charming he was. People don't know how to write movies or shows anymore. I have to say that is show is almost as bad as She Hulk.
