    1 John 4:20-21:
If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.

There is no surprise in the call to love one another, as that is consistent in the holy scriptures but it is refreshing to hear your perspectives and commitment to that love. I am a Bahá'í and we would say the same, we are one human family, aPromoting the oneness of humanity, rejecting division between the human family, lovingly preferring our siblings to ourselves, serving humanity and in particular, working to root out racism. Everyone is so concerned about which “denomination” they belong to. Why? What did they say that was wrong? They told you they were Christians. And, then they gave you a definition of what true Christianity is supposed to look like and it was biblical. Loving God with all your heart and loving your neighbor. Even Jesus said that was the first commandment.
The real reason you want to know the denomination is so you can form an ad hominem attack. They are telling you what they believe. Many people make assumptions based on their presuppositions about certain denominations that may not be valid. If you disagree with what they say, attack the idea… the denomination is irrelevant.

I'm a Muslim so it was quite interesting to see Christians that actually believe that upholding their religion is the most important factor in life. The relationship between Muslims and Christians (practicing) is actually something that is well established in Islam, as Muslims we believe that Christians have some of the truth.
Y'all spoke about getting to know other people and also being with those that are "godly". I hope to leave you with this verse from the Quran.
O humanity! Indeed, We created you from a male and a female, and made you into peoples and tribes so that you may ˹get to˺ know one another. Surely the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous among you. Allah is truly All-Knowing, All-Aware.1 [49:13]

Well, good afternoon, young ladies. a dear friend, sent me your U2 channel and suggested that I look in and see the two of you. I, of course, respect your right to your choice to live is Christians. But I have lived longer than you both and probably your parents and I know that many Christians interpret the Bible differently. So who am I whom am I to say that there is only one way to view the path to Christianity. My grandparents were Methodists and had very deep feelings about the church and their participation in it. As a child visiting my grandparents, my brothers and I were and the church., those summers we spent with my grandparents. we were in church all day and the minister often came to supper at our house on Sundays. I have deep respect for anyone’s religion. We get to choose how we believe and what we believe. I am not a Christian by choice. But having grown up at the church understand and know a lot of the beliefs. I prefer a spiritual life without a religious label.
It was lovely listening to the two of you discuss, what is clearly an important aspect of your lives. I am also a Black mother with a biracial daughter, who and her adult hood has given me three biracial grandchildren. I have started to watch the discussion that the two of you were having with your mothers, both of them are white, and your fathers are Black. I will return to watching that video where you are interviewing your mothers. Good luck with your channel and I’m sure you are bringing very interesting viewing two loads of people.!

As a black Catholic, there's a whole lot more going on in church history than meets the eye. I've studied for so many hours before becoming Catholic and I will agree with one thing here: a lot of church history has been Europeanized, but not all of it. One of the first and original places where Christians gathered was in Africa. Look up the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.

The Torah scrolls (1st 5 books of the bible) originated on the geological continent of Africa. That is how Europeanized the Bible became. Catholic church does not teach this simple truth. Catholic church appropriated elements of Judaism, then blended it with European Paganism or idolatry.

Appreciate your videos Sophia and Peyton. Keep them coming. Here are some suggestions for episodes. @GottaBMePodcast
1-a tour of the bookshelf behind you. When I visit someone’s home, I am so drawn to their book case. I’ll start checking out the titles. I find I can learn a lot about them through the books they have. I already noticed The Hate U Give, Redeeming Love, Life of Pi, Holy Bible, The New Jim Crow. Right there shows you or someone in the home is either well-read on popular books on race or is at least interested in those topics. Would be great to bring the camera closer to give an overview and then maybe select top 10-15 to share 40 sec promos or points about books that you read or want to read or influenced your family’s thinking or your father’s thinking or mothers’s thinking on a diversity of topics: parenting, finances, race, religion, cooking, hair, etc.
2-a fun episode. Maybe a vlog in a day in the life or just hanging out with the family playing games or going to the park or dinner. What does fun look like for you? I think people are interested in you because you guys seem so unique and inspirational and you encourage people to live a better life, a more righteous or holy life, even if you’re not perfect.
3-a hair episode. You say “peace, love and hair grease” so hair seems like it has an important role. Hair styles, hair maintenance, products, etc.
4-Dress/Clothing- talk more about how you dress and how you came to that. What influenced decisions of parents and you dress that way. Since you look different from most, I think that’s an obvious discussion.
5-Career Goals- studying and school. Aspirations, vocation, occupation
6-Diet and exercise-health. Views, perspectives, experiences, struggles, challenges, etc. What are your fave foods? Maybe a cooking episode where we get to learn more about your culture and traditions and family fave foods. Doesn’t have to be super unique or exotic, but as long as it’s meaningful to you, in sure it’s meaningful to audience.
7-What do we believe in more depth. Continue the conversation. Appreciate how you discussed scripture, history and prophecy in answering what Christianity means to you. This is beautiful that Christianity to you is about unity and loving your brother. Many people may also share that same belief, but live different lives and may have beliefs you don’t share. I think though, we still have LOTS of unanswered questions about understanding and learning about you both. What collection of writers influenced your thinking about Christianity? What are some distinct beliefs? Does how you dress relate your Christianity? If so, how? How were you raised? What are your parents’ beliefs? Were you raised in a community or church with people who are dressed and believed similarly? And maybe you’ll do as video on that later. But I still feel like I don’t know you really yet. Where does your passion come from to discuss and address oppression and racism and sexism? It’s not about labeling for the sake of labeling. It’s not about putting you in a box. It’s more about clarity.
Again thank you so much! May God richly bless and guide you. I hope this helps. I hope you see my heart/intention.

I understand y'all more than you know. I go to a place that God led me to back in 2019. People always have a problem when I say I'm just part of Jesus' church. What religion are you, they say...and my response is whatever Jesus called me to be. The heavenly Jerusalem. Mount Zion.
I understand why yall dress this way. What's in you comes out. People look at me and the people I surround myself with like we are crazy. We just choose to dress how scriptures say. We stay away from worldly things. I'm glad you all popped up on my feed. I have wanted to do something like this from the beginning of my walk, but God has other plans so I'm thankful to have found y'all.

I love history. I can sit down with God and go from the beginning to now and never miss a beat. I fell in love with history in the 7th grade. I wasn’t the best student but when it came to history I can retain all of it. Some times it’s a good thing but can also be a bad thing to remember history. At times when I drive through the south. I am from the East Coast. I live in Texas now and my wife is from Mississippi. I was terrified to going to Mississippi for the first time because I know the history. All I can say is when I am in Mississippi all the people are wonderful and nice and it’s a beautiful state. The black people of the state need to wake up and get out and vote. When I drive through Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi. The whole time I can see visions of salves working sun up to sun down in the unbearable heat. No breaks, no lunch time. No water. No understanding at the time of heat stroke so many of these slaves working with no food, no water and passing out and dropping dead. I see these visions and it reminds me we are not to far from our past. If we continue to not care about voting we can easily be back in those same conditions.

It is interesting that you all aren't willing to state what church you are a part of. I am not sure why though. Your group definitely has a name. I will not mention it as you ladies must have your reasons for not stating it. I was friends with Sister Roz (that looks like her brother on that book , but i cant see it well enough )when she lived in Alaska and I attended a meeting where i met the person who took over after the founder died. . I don't think people are trying to put you ladies in a box. I think some genuinely want to know. Some may be interested in attending a church like yours. I know i was back in the day. I think for many, it is a breath of fresh air to see young ladies dressed modestly and speaking on matters that actually matter. Something other than superficial things that are vain. Anyways, I am enjoying your videos and at the same time, amazed at the changes within the church. Back in the day when I was learning about your group, TV, Internet searching, certain clothing colors were not "allowed" or maybe it would be better to say, were strongly discouraged. I think to the point that everyone conformed. What attracted me to the teaching was I met Christians who actually sought to live according to the Bible and not just talk about it. I learned from Sister Roslyn that there is such a thing as living a victorious Christian life, right now, on this earth.

I really enjoy your discussions, discovered your channel today. Thank God! know you are generalising Christianity - yes there are issues, problems within Christianity, but also among different streams of groups that worship Christ but don't use the term "we are Christians". I have read Christian history. I would like to say that God spoke to me clearly after leaving mainstream Christianity for the Messianic Christian movement: After sometime, God reminded me that when I got saved knowing the only name of my Saviour as "Jesus" and used to cry out Jesus, Jesus, the Holy Spirit bore witness with my spirit that I am a child of God (Romans 8); Jesus/Holy Spirit/God was with me and it was the true Christ I was calling on. I gained a lot of revelation and miracles happened in my life. So knowing the Hebrew name of Jesus and those of God, I'm I "throwing the baby in the bath water" denying that I was truly connected to God when I was not using Yahuah, Yahweh, or Yeshua or however I want to refer to God? He ministered to me that it is not what I call Him that will get me into eternity. I can use whatever name I want, I can be part of any Christian group, keeping Sabbath or not. I may have greater insight into spiritual things which is great because he gives me all this. But at the end of the day, it is the state of my heart condition before Him, living according to what true Christianity is, that determines whether I am truly His or obedient. Many do not have the revelation about God's /Christ's names, nor the significance of keeping the Sabbath, but they are truly His or live according to the truth they are given revelation about sincerely. God knows the intents and heart condition of every Christian and there are His true people in every group of believers whatever they call themselves. We shall all be judged. It is the last of the last days, so our pre-occupation should not be looking at the worst that is going on (Matthew 24 tells us the signs of his coming, that are devastating even in the church), the name "Christianity" (leave that alone, please: There are true Christians within it too... so don't be discouraged, the devil is working overtime, but God has the victory, spend more time on reinforcing the positive within Christianity) but rather on focusing on living for Him in sincerity and truth and praying that others will gain insight into His truths. God bless you as God gives you more revelation and understanding. Lots of Love Deborah I just subscribed p.s. this is my new you tube channel Poetic Reverence - please subscribe.

    Hi! :)
I love that you girls are doing this! I just want to maybe help clear the doubt. I think the reason why people are asking or in doubt of who you are is because you dress differently and can be mistaken for a community like the Amish or something similar not necessarily religion. I think the question some may not be towards the fact of whether you are christian or not but more of what community you are from (in terms of ethnic/social). Im not sure if that makes sense. I am also christian and I think I am a conservative christian but I don't look like you guys do or dress your way (nothing wrong in that). So its that contrast that might be the question of many.

He is multifaceted and He doesn't call us to believe that we have the whole truth in our churches. Jesus looks and molds us in our hearts which leads us to be like Him.
The Father sheep knows His voice .
I believe we are all the Church the body of Christ and we should grow in God's love wherever we go to church at. Because He is the way the truth He is all He knows all, not we ourselves.
Grow in your walk with God and He will lead you.

Very interesting to hear your video and what you believe.I too am a follower of the way. Thank you ladies.
There have been a lot of horror stories in history, whereby evil has been perpetrated in the name of Christianity, such as slavery. However, the fact that people have twisted the scriptures AND NOT FOLLOWED JESUS OR THE BIBLE IN DOING SO,, does not either discredit Jesus or The Bible.
When evaluating Christianity we have to look at Jesus, what He claimed, prophecy, history, how He beahved, what He condoned and what He forbade. But without being born again no man will see the kingdom of God.
I understand why saying you're a Christian is challenging. There is such strange and anti biblical behaviour across christendom which is why we hesitate as believers to use rhe word Christian.
Just as as if someone was an Accountant in a company, but was committing fraud, despite signing a contract with clear guidelines on how to conduct himself, he then made the company look dodgy, despite no one knowing what was happening. Does rhis mean the company was dodgy no, does this mean that what he did was approved of by the Managing Director no. So it is with Christianity, what does The Bible say and what does Jesus say.
I sometimes say a follower of Christ , but tbh it is not always clear.

Girls, you rooock!! I heard a prophecy from brother Tomy and he said 2024 is the year we Christians need to reclaim business and media for the Kingdom of God. So with that, I want to encourage you to keep going with your valuable content. I am in the process of starting a yt channel myself, never ever wanted to do that actually, but when He calls He calls. 😂
Girls, you have understood what many don't (yet): Revival can and will only happen with unity. One of my favourite passages from my favourite gospel is John 17. And already there, Jesus' last prayer before his crucifixion was for the unity of his believers! And he repeatedly prays for unity, so that must be something so crucially important to God's heart. I dunno, some ppl inventing all these denominations seem to have skipped this chapter or something. 😂
