What people forget is that DC was in his mid 30's when he began his trilogy with Jon Jones. I believe Cormier was good enough to defeat Jones, but it just wasn't in the cards even though he did take Jones to his limits. It must haunt Cormier at times, especially losing to a guy that doesn't take the sport as seriously as Cormier did. It's like working extremely hard at something you love for your entire life, you finally reach your professional peak only for this young unusually gifted arrogant dude to overshadow your work over and over and over again. Nah Alex was out-striking him . This isn’t his best performance
It definitely wasn't perfect. He was winning but Pereira was playing the long game, wearing down his body and legs. In the 5th round, when Izzy's legs gave out, Pereira did exactly what he planned. Izzy has the ability to beat him but I just don't see it happening
