Thank you for taking the time to show your treasures. A very impressive collection. It's always nice to see other peoples 'crazyness' in cross stitch. I find it calming!
I didn’t realize you were in STL. St. Louis had at least 10 shops in the metro area when I first started stitching. Now there is nothing and it is so sad. We used to have enough for a shop hop so I went to them all. I worked at Stitches on Main St. in St. Charles for a few years til I got married and started teaching. To go from that many to nothing is so strange and the same for quilt shops. There are only a couple of those. I’m really enjoying your videos.
Thank you for watching my videos, and it’s so nice to meet a local stitcher!!! ☺️💕 It’s very sad that the cross stitch stores are all gone in the STL area! ☹️ I dream of quitting my day job and opening a cross stitch shop so we can bring it back to the area again. Maybe one day!!
Hi there, thanks so much for this parade of Mira charts. They are fabulous and I concur with others, some I had not seen 'in person' before. You asked if anyone had stitched the Red Lady Pirate before and yes I have. It is on my channel here and also on my IG which is private but you can request to follow. I allow stitchers to follow me !! I am going to go and binge watch the rest of your channel. I am a huge Nora Corbett fan and you will see a lot of her work on my IG. Thanks again for the time it took to do these videos. Happy stitching to you. Take care, love from Brisbane, Australia.
I so appreciate your descriptions and references to other stitchers and the way they have done the pieces. It is so inspiring to see how many ways a piece can be presented.
What an amazing collection! I love the idea of stitching them in order!! You should go for it!🙃 Thank for sharing with us and giving the materials required for each design. The only Mira I own is Elizabeth and the Lavender Sky which I must stitch someday soon. 💗
I thought I would mention that I love longer videos mixed in because it gives me a change to sit and stitch with no distractions. It keeps me going and get me to make lots of progress! Keep them coming
Loved your Mirabilia chart parades! So many beautiful patterns, I thought I had quite a collection but....lol. Fellow Cdn here, originally from Montreal but in Ontario now. So glad I found you and look forward to future videos. Cheers, Trish
Hi, I’m so glad that u completed your Mira design parade. I saw the MD180, and it’s different in the use of colours. As to Sabrina, I’d not change the colour in the dress as it depicts the original 1954 movie Sabrina with Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart. That was the dress Sabrina wore at Larrabee’s party when she first came back from Paris. I doubt if I’ll ever stitch a Mirabilia, but I certainly enjoy looking at your collection and all your stitching progress. Cheers for now from Eastern 🍁 Canada 🇨🇦
Now that you bring that up about her dress you are SO right, the dress really shouldn’t be changed at all! Besides I already have it kitted up with the black thread and all the black beads ☺️. I might look into changing her hair to be more authentic too, another great idea!! This is why I love FlossTube, to meet stitchy friends who can help me make decisions and give me such wonderful ideas!! 💕💕
Interesting again, thank you. I think you should stitch the ones you love. Maybe start at #1 and from then on, choose whether to stitch every one, or just every one you can't miss out on. Rouen is pronounced roo-on, with the N only barely there. ⚘️
Thank you so much for showing all of your Mirabilia's! I loved seeing them all. Yes it would be amazing to stitch them all in order. I'm so glad I found your channel. Thank you!
I really enjoyed you sharing the Mirabilia patterns. They are very unique and I think you have a great collection. I have no desire to stitch one, but so appreciate the work that goes into them. They are beautiful. Even if you never get around to stitching them it would be cool to just have them in plastic sleeves in some kind of book format to look at. They only have so many patterns printed so just collecting the printed copies can be a hobby itself. I remember as a kid collecting baseball cards and opening packages to try and get all the cards in a set. It could be the same thing with specific designs of patterns. Get all the printed patterns from one designer.
Absolutely true, collecting the patterns is its own hobby! People fill shelves with books they’ve not yet read, I just put patterns on my shelf that I haven’t yet stitched. 😉💕
Wow! Stunning patterns. I would also start with No. 1. I did that with Paula Vaughn’s patterns back in the day. Haven’t finished them all yet but have them and have done quite a few as gifts. Stitch what and how it makes you happy. You are a girl after my own heart. I just told my husband that you may start with No. 1 and he laughed and said I had a twin out there 😂😂. Hope you have a great week, stay safe and happy stitching ❤️❤️
I agree with you about the earlier patterns; overall they’re my favorite too. Yes it’s wild to stitch them all in order, but would be super fun anyway, so if you want to, go for it! Thanks for a great video!
Another great video! I think I like the earlier Mirabilia patterns. It is a crazy idea to stitch them in order, enough to do it. Stitch what makes you happy.
Thanks for letting me know what you think of my idea! My husband already thinks I’m crazy so he’s not very helpful when I ask his opinion 😂. You are 100% right, we need to stitch what makes us happy 💕
Yay! I feel complete now that I have seen all 179!!! I’ve never seen many of them. Thank you for sharing. I definitely have some favorites (circle of friends, white santa).
I love your idea of stitching all the MD's and stitching them in order numerically! Crazy yes, crazy fun! I have a lot of the older charts and none of the newer ones - have stitched several and used to alternate between Lavender and Lace/Told in a Garden/Butternut Road and Mira's. Now I'm hooked on HAED's.
It’s so hard to decide what to stitch on when all I want to do is stitch everything!! 😂 There’s something very satisfying about stitching full coverage - 1 over 1 and no backstitch, and an epic masterpiece when it’s done! 👍☺️
Finally part 2 is here, I really enjoy this video same with the Part 1. If I have all these charts, maybe I'll be stitching also the first one to the latest. It would be crazy but amazing. I am trying to do that on the Bella Filipina Designs, I am starting this year to collect all of their patterns since all of them are not yet out of print. But still I love to stitch the Miras...
I haven’t yet started collecting the Bella Filipina designs but they are very beautiful! It’s hard to decide what to stitch on - Miras, full coverage/HAEDs, kits… too many lovely designs available and not enough time! ☺️

Every now and then I want to stitch Red again in maybe purple!

I think they also have Sulky threads but I haven’t invested in any of those yet. I’m happy if I can get even a few supplies locally and support local businesses 👍🙂
The Garden Prelude #165 is being stitched by Cherry Hill Stitchery (a designer) and she is stitching it on a Flair Fabric that has a rose arch behind her and it is so pretty. Plus she also plays the violin and so she added sleeves to the dress as she said she would never perform with her violin wearing a strapless dress which i found interesting. Her rendition is very pretty. I enjoyed seeing your collection.
Thank you!! I will check out Cherry Hill Stitchery, sounds like she has a lot of knowledge and an amazing take on the pattern! Thanks so much for sharing, I love to find new FlossTubers stitching Mirabilias! ☺️💕
I loved your video! I haven’t found 01 yet, so I will see them after the new ones. You had some that I will admit I have not seen! Like you, I love Princess Eliana and I also love Blossom, the newest one. She has kind of similar colors as Eliana. I love the idea of stitching them from the beginning, but you’d better be a fast stitcher, which I am not! Lol. I was really into Mira’s early in my stitching career- I did 2 mermaids and Midsummer Nights fairy, and then Winter Queen. Then hit a Mira wall. I do love Miras, I am not a fast stitcher 😂, and I have so many other stitching passions too (full coverage, Dimensions kits…) I need several more lifetimes to do it all! If you continue working on Miras I hope you’ll let me know which ones!
I loved looking at your Mirabilia collection. I have a good portion of them. I never was too fond of the mermaids so I don’t have many of them. I did stitch the Santa Magic. I have a lot of the old ones and several of the new ones. Nora Corbett is my favorite designer. Starting with the first one sounds like a plan. 😊

I too love a lot of the older ones, but I am focusing on the ones that REALLY call to me and investing my time into them. LOVE this second round of your Mirabilia collection. Loved to see your collection! Thank you! Is there a November fairy? I was watching for it but not sure if I missed it… I ordered my first Mirabilia pattern (Stargazer) and am waiting for it to arrive. Can’t wait to get started! Do you have any tips for beading? This will be my first project with beading. :)

Just finished watching your latest mirabilia video, of your collection, a lovely watch. I haven't stitched any of the ladies, love seeing them though, but the Santa so enabled, now need to find in the uk. I am going have to curb my list as already ordered the Dimensions Finery of Nature after seeing it on your channel. As I am not very good with evenweave or linen do you think aida would work for the mirabilia santa. x
Santa is pretty much full coverage except for the outside border, and I personally think Aida would be preferable over linen for that design! I know people who only stitch Mirabilias on Aida. I say go for it, it will be beautiful! 😍
Yes that’s the dress! Which is probably why I shouldn’t change it. I’ve got it kitted up with the black threads and black beads exactly as charted. It’s so pretty 😍
@@NeedleberryStitcher If you would like it better in a different color-go for it! Did the designer ever make the Breakfast at Tiffany’s dress into a Mirabillia design?
@@Lisa-vb3gn I don’t believe any of the current designs are inspired by “the little black dress” (I could be wrong…), but wouldn’t that be gorgeous?? 😍. Let’s hope for that in a future pattern!
There are a few that are a bit less complicated and have more regular crosses and not so much Kreinik and beading. The Seasonal Garden ones are on the easier side (Summer in My Garden, Spring in My Garden, etc) or if you want a lady in a dress the pattern “Starlet” isn’t too big and it doesn’t have too many extra fancy flosses or beads, just a few. Starlet is SO pretty! Find one that you will love, you won’t feel like stitching on it if you don’t really fall in love with it. Happy stitching!! 💕💕
We all learn from each other, that’s what’s so nice about FlossTube!! 💕 I hope I gave you okay advice, you might regret listening to me! 😂. I hope to pass them along once I’ve stitched them, let some other folks share in the joy of stitching them! ☺️💕
@@NeedleberryStitcher That's awesome...eh! :)
@@ediek9383 😂🤣
Is the Sabrina pattern based on the dress that Audrey Hepburn wore in the movie? It seems to have a very similar vibe. That would be so interesting.
I would stitch the ones you love the most first
I think you’re right about that, absolutely! Not enough time to stitch on what we don’t enjoy most 💕☺️
Are you stitching any Mirabilias currently?
You could actually put Sabrinba in the middle of Veronica and Elizabeth. Her pose looks like the mirror image of them two.
I really like that idea!! 👍😃
"Red" has been on my radar from the beginning and yet I have started and kitted other Mira's. Why do I do this to myself?
😂 I get it, I really do!! It’s like I’m saving my favorites for later… as if I have time to wait!! 🤣
I really want to try stitching a Mira but little nervous about beading and Krenik! What is a good one to start with? Love your collection!
@@NeedleberryStitcher well, I know where to go for advice - I just ordered Starlet ! Hope you don’t mind novice questions 😛
We all learn from each other, that’s what’s so nice about FlossTube!! 💕 I hope I gave you okay advice, you might regret listening to me! 😂. Regardless I think Starlet is one of the newer ones that I REALLY like that I haven’t seen many people stitch - I hope you’ll send me updates of your progress, or let me know your Instagram account so I can follow your updates there!
Are you familiar with Ankicoleman Designs Cross Stitch. Talk about going down the rabbit hole of full coverage pieces......hundreds of them. How many times can you say “ ooooh! I need that”?
I had never heard of that website before but WOW!! I just checked it out and it looks amazing!! 😍
@@NeedleberryStitcher I read on one of the full coverage sites that Ankicoleman Designs have copyright issues. I was curious because they have quite a few beautiful designs and great prices so it just raised some red flags. Just a heads up because you were troubled by your Disney designs from Etsy.
@@stitchodyssey8543 Thanks for updating me on that issue, I’ll do some research before purchasing 👍
I should wait till video finishes before replying, but if I did that, I’d be liable to forget 😂. Anyways, the city of Rouen is phonetically pronouncedSounds like

I should have looked up the pronunciation before I started filming, but I would have forgotten it anyway by the time I got to that one 😂
So crazy you should start at number one Mirabilia
Love it!! 😂
I'm stitching Andromeda! And doing a colour conversion on the skin - you can see it on my channel if you'd like to see how she's coming along :)
Oh how wonderful that you have a channel too!! I’ve just subscribed and I can’t wait to check out your videos!! ☺️💕
I love that you're different, you're crazy and I've watched flosstube #12 and I love your sarcasm 😉😂, I'm a bit like your but it doesn't come through on my videos
Thank you for acknowledging my craziness!! 😂😂 I’d love to check out your videos - I’ll put them in my playlist for tonight!! 😃👍
@@NeedleberryStitcher they're boring compared to yours 😂
They don’t call me an enabler for nothing. I was going to send you pictures of the two I just purchased but I can’t send them from the comment box.
You can email me at needleberries@gmail.com ☺️
Have you seen the Evergreen Needle΄s conversion of Raven Queen? She based it on the evil queen (Charlize Theron) from Snowhite and the Huntsman, and made her a blonde with a golden dress. It was spectacular. She hasn΄t made videos in years, but she filmed the finished conversion: th-cam.com/video/q5S_fZp0qD4/w-d-xo.html
Oh THANK YOU! I would love to see that, I’ll watch the video!! 😍😍
I just watched it and WOW, does she ever sparkle in the gold dress! 👍😃
