- Old Sharm is a must visit area during your trip in Sharm el Sheikh. Being a highly touristic area, it' s also prone to some touristic traps, so in this video I will give you some general advice and show you what in my opinion are the best restaurants, cafes and shop in the area.

After you find anything you want it is a matter of how hard you can haggle the better you haggle the better price you can get,don"t be afraid to walk away as this will quite often bring the price down.After shopping it is really nice to visit the beautiful mosque there,from the outside it is impressive but inside it is beautiful.There are plenty of place to eat from cheap fast food to not so cheap seafood the choice is yours,the area is a lot cleaner and brighter than it used to be and there is a larger range of shops here than in Naama Bay.Worth a visit if you like haggling and shopping.
🛐The Mosque of Sahaba is located in Sharm el Sheikh at the "Old Town", and is one of the most beautiful mosques I have ever see.
It' s a splendid architectural masterpiece of recent construction, that can hold more than 3000 people and has minarets higher than 70mt.
🙋🏾♂️ ENTRANCE is FREE, everybody can go inside no matter what your religion or nationality is.
Low cut dress are forbidden, and in case you need, free veils are provided at the mosque so you can cover body parts if needed.
🏞 The way the architectural elements blend with the environment - the harsh, rocky mountains of the Sinai desert on one side, and the Red Sea on the other - make it a unique place to visit and I really reccomend you come here and explore it.
🌄 Though most of the tourists visit the Mosque of Sahaba at night, I suggest you to do it with day light or before sunset, so that you can appreciate much more the elegance of the structure.
