another day at work, another stream i had to miss. these are sad times indeed. on the plus side i finally got a chance to play 3.23 the other day for the first time and i thought i was having a stroke when my [tab] wasn't sending out the ping. i watched like 10 videos on mining and such and every single one just said "use [tab] to ping for mineable materials" and i was losing my mind... turns out 3.23 unbound the ping action from [tab] and i had to simply reset it. that was about 5 hours of my life wasted there. ironically not a single video mentioning 3.23 mentioned that this update had key bind issues. i only figured it out when one of the video posters responded to my comment and asked if i had reset the binding for it which immediately solved the issue, they even told me that a few of my bindings were likely different and to keep an eye out for that. but besides my deep dive into insanity, how have YOU been jack?
Hey man! I am sorry to hear about ping getting unbound. That's been a weird thing happening for people, some keys getting unbound and having to chase down which key it is. Sorry it took so damn long to figure it out too. I've been up and down, had these meds kicking my ass, which is the reason I probably won't make it to the Bar Citizen in Austin. Basically not allowed to be in heat or sun and with it being summer in the South...that's kind of hard to avoid. So I am cooped up for the summer til the sun goes down. Other than that though it's been real cozy and I am keeping (mostly) cool!
@JackAxton sorry to hear you're going to have to miss it, but if anything I would say your health is far more important than a convention is any day. Keep kicking ass and i hope everything gets better.
