with the rumors of HoloX being former managers like Lui & Koyori or even probably even rumored to be their former dance instructor like Laplus, I think being offered to be a 'research student' is something close to that. it's like the management is asking you to be close while gaining experience, learning about the industry & the current talents in the form of a 'Research Student' and still keeping reality in check by saying 'going into this doesn't mean you're guaranteed to be hired' just to make sure she don't jump into conclusions.
It sounds a bit like an internship I guess but I hope it's not unpaid or exploitative. She sounds clearly grateful to have made it here, but everything has an opportunity cost. I don't want to imagine how it'd feel if she invested however much energy and time she did into this program, to only gain nothing but experience instead of getting the job. I could be worrying for nothing, also unpaid internships are of course a thing, she just seems so emotional riled from experience that it makes me a bit uneasy. I'm happy for her but I hope the business practice itself is cool and kosher
@@aboredburrito5010 well the practice is actually not that uncommon especially in Japan. . though she said it herself, she couldn't pass the 2nd screening because she couldn't speak at all. though even if she dont have any streaming experience, she still has an insane background in gaming especially if the current members vouches for her gaming experience since she also said some of the members is her actual friends(it's probably the Kaga Sisters). expect more members to get debuted like this though because she kinda hinted that she was the 'first' to pass from a research student then there's probably several more. . another thing is some members actually gambled more from their life just to get accepted in VSPO. take Shiranami Ramune for example. she quit her job & sold her car just to spend several months as a neet while grinding ranks on Valorant just to get accepted on VSPO.
@@litlsteps8486 I do think I’m just being paranoid yeah. The company is also investing resources into training these research members as VSPO candidates after all, there’s little reason for them to string anyone along. It’s not like they can abuse their labor BEFORE they’ve debuted either, unless they’re being compelled to provide other forms of labor outside of streaming. Personally in the case of Ramune, I don’t know enough about that to say either ways but it sounds different in the sense that I don’t see how the company is responsible there for anything beyond providing her the usual opportunity to audition. Even though it is also an individual choice to participate in the research program, there’s a professional obligation there for both parties to fulfill versus Ramune trying to give herself the best opportunity of being chosen. It seems different to me anyways. In any case, my biggest hope is that there are no scandals or unnecessarily hard feelings.
@@R0Tl im not one to dig infos like that so thank you! she's streaming right now and amazingly she also has a great amount of EN viewers which is very rare compared to other VSPO members.

@@litlsteps8486 btw, she did have streaming experience before joining Vspo, so I doubt that would have been an issue.

I guess it’s similar to trainees for kpop idols, the company trained and prepared you for debut but there’s no guarantee that you will actualy debut
Congratulations, happy she made it. Can wait to see how she interacts with everyone else 👌🏿
more tsumugi clip please
where's her channel!? G,notta gamer@all
Interesting... does anyone know if the research paper is public?? I personally would love to read her paper
I think it's just an anology to VSPO trained and mentored her before interviewing again, but I might be wrong.
@@HaoTran-nw3gn thanks for you thought, i was so confused.
