2:00:26 It's literally the safest power source in human history when looking at MW-to-injury ratios. People tend to think they just oozing toxic radiation 24/7 when in reality you’d get more exposure riding on an airplane than you would spending the day in one. There were TWO bad accidents, one in the soviet union that was entirely negligence / not following protocol, and the Fukushima disaster. You know, the one where they build a plant directly on the beach of a country with a history of terrible tsunamis. Those two event alone have somehow ruined the worlds opinion on responsible energy.
I think that goes for everything that has the capability of "when it goes bad, it goes really bad". The reason we've only had 2 really bad disasters is because they were so bad we made the power plants much safer, and were more thoughtful when placing them. Its no bad thing to think of something as dangerous, after all, if we didn't think of it that way, we would become complacent and stop following protocol as well
2:14:50 Going back to the 'Python bros' theory, I've often been advised to learn python as a first language, but when I ask what languages they use its often C++. I think its recommended as a stepping stone language more often than not.
dont you already know how to code?? python is merely a stepping stone, it's like on-boarding stage. you have enough skills already to begin from Go and focus on that! given your experience with JS world you don't even need BootDev for its Go course. take intermediate Go course, and then focus on web dev with Go. that's it.
