The real San Antonio started on the Southside and its airport was Stinson airfield and still operates. There's so much more to San Antonio than just the rich parts of town. Let's be fair and drive where real life happens and not just fairy tale places.
Make sure that you avoid it in the summer. If you have to go in the summer, no long walks. Personally I would not use the bus in the summer since waiting for the bus could make you pass out. Just rent a car or use Uber

it's not nearly as flat and boring. houston feels like a southeast city with texas flavor....SA feels like the gateway to the southwest USA

San Antonio is great but it does get hot in Texas. Right now it's the best weather.
